I used to like this more when I was younger but now I realize this album is an adult woman trying to be a little girl in grade school and I really don't know how to feel about that
I didn't know who she was before this album but she is absolutely going to blow up in the pop industry
I personally like the direction she took with this album after Joanne. It's a nice throwback to how she started with the dance pop sound
Everything about this record is magnificent. It is wonderfully written, produced, and performed and is a great listen.
I've never been the biggest fan of country music but I'm not gonna lie each song tells a story which I suppose is the exact purpose of the album judging by the title.
Honestly this is Maggie's weakest project in my opinion, but break me! and novocaine go so hard
I love when an artist can tackle serious issues in politics and government while also making the album feel fun and not politically charged at the same time
Not her strongest album but it's definitely heartfelt and you can tell Marina put her heart and soul into this project and wanted to take a more meaningful route as opposed to her previous albums
This album is a rollercoaster of ups and downs with how Marina hits you with party anthems like Bubblegum Bitch and Primadonna only to slap you in the face with a handful of depression by following those up with Lies but that journey and conflict of emotions is what makes this album so great
This album is so much fun I don't even know how to describe it just it's fun and silly at the beginning and then gets heartfelt and serious towards the end
