this is some goat tier sampling. beautiful album. especially the second track. that piano loop feels like you're in the winter.
relistening to this album again for the first time in probably 8 to 10 years reminds me of when I was happier and didn't know what stuff like rainbow six siege was.
favorite tracks: countdown, moon won't turn, unglued, turn up the radio, platform moon, wrong line, fire away
least favorite tracks: way to the floating hospital/the miracle of light
one of the prettiest and most lush albums I have ever heard. best songs were carry me ohio, salvador sanchez, gentle moon, and duk koo kim. biggest complaint is that mark is an asshole.
one of the best folk songs ever made and definitely one of mark kozelek's best songs. why is he such a terrible person though?
this isn't the greatest squid song I've ever heard but it was still a pretty good song regardless. music video's cool as hell btw.
spotify recommended this to me and I don't know why but I'm not complaining.
this is so god damn groovy and awesome and cool and epic and radical and amazeballs and chill and cool. dance yrself clean's beat drop might be one of the best beat drops in history btw.
this is a pretty solid album and I like it for the most part but the biggest problem for me is that this album sounds too much like tyler the creator. it's not a bad album tho it's pretty good.
this is too long for its own good. decent album without the 37 minutes of recordings.
this is a very personal and vulnerable album to listen to. the lyrics get extremely deep and personal. highlights were united in grief, mother I sober, and the heart part 5.
every song is incredible. and for a late 70's album, it sounds like it could be made today. MASTAPIECE!!!
