this was nearly a 100 for me but automatic was kinda forgettable and kind of a skip so it's a 99 but this album is still amazing. it sounds like their previous album emergency & I but with a few tweaks here and there. there's also some absolutely BANGERS in this like holy cannoli. and the singing is just as good if not better on this. might relisten very soon and maybe I'll see if I like automatic more.
favorite tracks: almost all of them

some great songs here but kinda samey at times. layne's the goat as usual on this so that's cool. very blues influenced and fun.
favorite tracks: wake up, river of deceit, I'm above, long gone day, november hotel, all alone
least favorite tracks: artificial red, lifeless dead (they were pretty forgettable ngl)
some of the most hard-hitting shit imaginable. just non-stop bangers that make even the weirder time signatures here groovy as hell. I just loved this there's nothing else for me to say.
favorite tracks: here come the rome plows, do you compute, golden brown, luau, super unison, human interest, sinews, hand over fist, bullet train to vegas (ik the last two songs weren't actually on the album but they were very good)
least favorite tracks: new intro (it was still good but it was just ... read more
this was so worth the wait it's not even funny. after many years of these guys not dropping some heat they finally decide to do so and man this sounds so different from their previous stuff while also having what makes them so legendary. the production here is immaculate and so intricately made that it's hard not to be immersed in the chill but ominous atmosphere of this. this album feels like there's a lot on the surface but a lot more deeper. it makes wanna relisten soon and ... read more
since I got this recommended to me and also that muse are actually making good songs again I felt like I should listen to this album and I'm glad I listened to this cuz this shit smacked some SERIOUS ASS!!!! just super fun while also being one of the grandiose listens ever. every song here sounds like it would play in a blockbuster movie and I mean that in the best way possible. even the feeling good cover felt cinematic like man that would fit in some cool spy movie 1000%. matt ... read more
banger after banger after banger. spectacular musicianship all around. especially that guitar oh my GOODNESS!!! amazing riffs, good basslines, great vocals, and f.c.p.r.em.i.x., this shit has it all. just a fantastic album. nothing else to be said.

this is really flippin bad but there is infinitely worse music than this. like I kinda see a bit of the vision for this but it's just made so sloppily and haphazardly that it feels like a bunch of bullshit just went through one ear and out the other. like that family ties sample made no sense and did not belong to this like PLEASE leave uncle kenny and the big keem outta this. oh yeah and apparently the guy who made this is a pedo so yeah this music's HOT BUNS!!!

just a fucking vibe through and through. the techno and house on this is just so groovy and coo sounding. just sounds like you're in a some 90s night club getting fucked up on some drugs or smth. this album also reminds me heavily of depeche mode. and I like me some depeche mode. just a cool album with a good amount of replay value.
favorite tracks: dark & long, mmm... skyscraper I love you, tongue, dirty epic, cowgirl, m.e.

sounds new to them while still maintaining what makes them so amazing and stunning in the first place. I'm so excited for this album it's not even funny.
this is one of the most demented, deranged, and batshit insane albums I've listened to recently. borderline unsettling noise rock with some of the most manic and crazy vocals I've heard in a while make the perfect combination for this absolutely harrowing listening experience. gets a lil weaker in the second half but it's still really damn good. loved this.

nonstop banger after banger. fire production and beats, fire bars, great features, this has it all. this album proves to me that alchemist (when he's not doin that ai shit) is in top 5 most legendary producers (and he aint 5). the rappers in this are great especially domo. just a extremely solid and well done album.
favorite tracks: fuck everybody else, all alone, eliminaton chamber, me and my bitch, till the angels come, the daily news, the feeling, no idols

never listened to a single kid rock song but fuck you kid rock for being mean to joe dirt
what a beautiful album with one of the best songs I've ever heard on it (medicine bottle). every track here is so beautiful and somber and fits pefectly with each other in this dreamy slowcore music. love this album a lot and medicine bottle is one of my favorite songs of all time.
favorite tracks: 24, medicine bottle, down colorfull hill, michael

this is the perfect music for watching one of the most sweetest and tragic characters in recent cinema blow their shit clean off
can't believe that boards of canada are dropping shit again. my sweet glorious kings are back at it.
