everything like the lyrics, the beats, and the features are so good. this record feels so personal and raw with the writing and the instrumentation. st. chroma, noid, take your mask off, like him, and I hope you find your way home were amazing songs including the rest of the material that tyler's got throughout these 53 minutes. I'll probably glaze some of the songs here to no end.
WHY IS HE DROPPING SPED UP VERSIONS BRO THIS GUY ACTUALLY THINKS THIS TRASH ASS SONG IS GONNA BE A NUMBER 1 HIT!!! WHAT THE FUCK??????
i ain't listening to low after hearing FROM THE SCREEN, TO THE RING, TO THE PEN, TO THE KING 🫅🫅👑👑❗❗❗❗
it makes me go crazy. and i don't like going crazy.
I need to listen to the full album but I trawl the megahertz is one of the most beautiful songs that I've ever heard. I love how the poem being spoken throughout the song can be interpreted to so many different ways. 10/10 song. my rating's a 97 since I haven't listened to any of the songs here except the first song and that the first song is stellar.
modest mouse is one of the most goated bands of all time. highlights were 3rd planet, gravity rides everything, tiny cities made of ashes, the stars of projectors (one of their top 10 best songs imo), and paper thin walls.
it's pretty eh. highlights were rapunzel, the stone, crush, and the dreaming tree.
this is probably my least favorite thom yorke related thing but I'm not saying this album's bad. some of the songs feel a bit too minimalistic for my liking. the biggest examples of this would be foreign spies and don't get me started. colours fly was a tiny bit underwhelming since I liked it better live. tiptoe's pleasant sounding but it's pretty forgettable in the long run. the highlights for me were instant psalm, zero sum, eyes & mouth, no words, and bodies ... read more
this album is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. all of the songs are genuine masterpieces including the frank sinatra cover as the closer. blues is a bonkers but extremely jazzy song and that minute long buildup is very well done. terra is really samba influence and it slaps so hard. holy, holy is an amazing song and I think that it sonically represents the album very well. the title track sounds incredible and really groovy. walk up is absolutely amazing and that skit is very ... read more
pretty good but maruja is starting to sound a bit the same with every new song. the song's not bad tho.
that was a really haunting melody and it was really really good. I didn't expect a single two days before the album tho.
this song is as bonkers as most of the black midi stuff. im so excited for this.
this is probably one of the most bizarre releases of the year so far. this isn't as strange and messed up as girl with a basket of fruit but it's still extremely weird sonically. my highlights were, arp omni, maestro one chord, veneficium, t.d.f.t.w., and piña, coconut, and cherry.
I love that random hillbilly ass voice that pops up in the album. especially ship's a going down.
all of the songs here are bangers and pink fruit is probably gonna be in my top 20 favorite songs in general. this is such a bonkers listen with the vocals, the sounds, the songs, the instrumentation, and everything else. some parts feel like squid made them, while there's this one part in pink fruit that sounds like something I'd hear off of heroin king (from harbor century). my favorite tracks here were pink fruit, ondor gongor, don't make friends with good people, half-ruined ... read more
a pretty good album to listen to while doing something. I mostly took a walk to target and the gym while listening to this and I mostly enjoyed it.
