this was definitely a very melancholic album to listen to. it was beautiful though. the consistency and cohesion this album has is incredible. there were some songs I didn't really care for but this album made up for it with some of the most beautiful acoustic slowcore I've heard in a while. WILL be relistening to this again in the future.

this album was a very fun listening experience. another really good and hype gym album. I will definitely relisten to this eventually since I really liked this. overall a great album. (p.s. rags and bones somewhat sounds like a geese song)
favorite tracks: it's catching up, the tower, stocktaking, the end of all things, two lips two lungs and one tongue, rags and bones
least favorite tracks: none of them
pretty fun and wacky album. I like the premise of this album and it's really cool when implemented. I can also see a lot of similarities to bkack midi and other bands. really cool album for its time. the last song sucks ass tho. very underrated album and this deserves a lot more recognition.
favorite tracks: thomas jackson, since 1968, mr. smith goes to heaven, marco polo, the american trilogy (1, 2, and 3)

this was a really great album. the production on this is insane and sounds like it wasn't made in 2001. the singing from björk is as good as ever on this. such a beautiful and lush album. the thing for me though is that the first half was amazing but the second half semi-lost me a little bit. it was still great but it kinda lost its momentum on me. that last track was beautiful though. overall a fantastic album thtat I will be relistening to eventually.

this was a pretty good and zany prog album. the zeuhl elements in this were cool to listen to along with the violin, saxophones, and flute included in the mix. the singing (even though very rare) is really good. overall underrated album.
favorite tracks: the first track (I'm not typing the full title)

this album best showcases the utter raw talent from everyone in this band. this album is the closest thing that perfectly fits its genre's name (since zeuhl is "celestial" in kobaïan). such a fun and engaging listen through and through. the dense instrumentation ranging from percussion instruments, backing female vocal choir, brass section, and insane ass vocals make this album sound so unique. this is magma's magnum opus and quite possible their best album (at least ... read more
this was a flippin good magma record. the more I listen to this band the more it becomes one of my favorite bands. the reusing of songs from udu wudu (zombies and the extract of Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré II) and attahk (rind-e) was very cool to hear. the last two songs were not it tho. I get that they were the very ending of this entire zeuhl epic but they were just so damn boring to go through. I recommend to not even bother with these songs and just listen to the entirety of ... read more
this album made me say what the fuck out loud at times. this album is genuinely bizarre. definitely up there with prison jar as one of the weirdest and most random sounding albums I've ever heard. the production on this is incredible on how random it puts stuff in the mix. the range of genres on this is also incredible. great great album overall. (also "give me that roach infested pussy girl i need that" is one the best bars of all time)

very nice album. the post rock elements of this are great but those ambient sections are gorgeous. it sounds so cool. this album is another strong case of the music sounding exactly like the album cover. just a beautiful album man.
favorite tracks: a street scene, absent friend, fingerspit, eyes and smiles, pendulum man
least favorite tracks: big shot (it was still a good song just not my favorite)
this album is pretty beautiful. lush is the best word to describe this album. might relisten in the future.

this album is damn beautiful. the vocals on this are incredible. the nice blend of prog and folk make for a really nice and extremely enjoyable listening experience. I don't really have anymore to say on this other than that this album was incredible.
favorite tracks: all of them

this was one of the weirdest listening experiences I've had as of now and genuinely what the fuck did I listen to. every second of these songs are so dense, weird, and fucked up sounding that you just can't stop listening. so many genres are blended into this but they don't feel TOO all over the place. they actually kinda coexist with each other in a strange way. weird ass album. also it was funny when I started hearing family guy clips randomly. what the fuck/10

forgot to review the last ep when it came out but ehh.
I liked this as much as I liked plan 75. the songs here are all great. really liked this and I'm excited to see what else this band has in store.

my bus hit somebody while I was listening to this but the person that got hit is okay so it's chill.
I liked this. very reminiscent of many of the windmill scene bands. this can stand on its own though. there are some bangers on this.
favorite tracks: now in a vacuum, concrete vehicles, I'll follow, weird new vocation, dissolution use, station on the hill

every track in here fucking SMACKED! banger after banger with these songs never losing thier insanity and momentum throughout. I also really like that the songs here could change rythyms, tempos, and time signatures so rapidly and yet so smoothly at the same time. loved this.
