Discovered her from Spotify recommending me ‘Door’, kept listening to it and now here I am. I thought I would prefer this album more over her new one, but i’m starting to like her newer one much more overall. This album is still amazing tho, just has more.. “fillers” but not really bc they’re still great.
Streamed Hit Me Where it Hurts like 200 times, it’s so good. Id still say the highs on this album are higher than he highs on Desire tho.
every guy i like is straight
I knew Olivia’s album was coming but i was more excited for Dojas, so i just decided to listen cause why not. Was pleasantly surprised, i loved it right away. I want to say this is better than Sour but i also love Sour a lot too sooo. The single Vampire was good, i streamed it when it came out but stopped, got into it again btw. Bad Idea Right was the single that made me excited, I absolutely love it, it makes me feel like a teenage girl, which i’m ... read more
bro my paragraphs were deleted bc the site refreshed. My wordings gonna be worse bc i’m too impatient but i’ll retype ig.
Oh boy, here’s gonna be a long essay on how i feel about dojas era and about how i feel about the reviewers on this site. I didn’t put a rating yet bc i haven’t fully immersed myself into each song and i feel like it’ll be unfair to give an inaccurate rating (unlike some other reviewers who couldnt get past one song so they rated this ... read more
big doja fan here. Found a snippet of this on twitter and couldn’t stop playing it. This is def one of my fav doja songs, the rapping, the funny lyrics, her voice.
Favorite pt: you hang up, NO YOU HANG UP
I really like this ðŸ˜. The trailer with the snippet at the end had me so hyped. While I wished the whole song was her screaming, I think it’s still a fun song.
The first verse, like what most people didn’t like, sounded kinda weird at first, but now i think she wrote it as corny and generic as possible bc people made fun of her for not being able to rap.
I haven’t heard anyone mention it, but this really reminds me of Ashnikko with the wonky beats and screaming chorus. ... read more
nah why is this rated so low, sure it’s still poppy and commercial-sounding, but that’s what I like about Doja.
Everyone interpreted her saying “her old music sucks and they’re cash grabs” as a form of her saying all her new music will be so fresh and experimental. Like huh? The only thing i expected after hearing that is that her new lyrics will be more genuine and related to her… and they are. So i’m happy ig.
I’m sorry the song didn’t ... read more
Def similar to the other two songs they’ve released so far, production wise. Started jamming once the beat kicked in. The chorus is nice, the mv was sad but very intriguing.
Not my favorite NewJeans song but def not a skip whatsoever. Will def grow on me the more i listen
Found this song from Spotify recommending it to me. UGH. So good. Def Ashnikkos best song, The video game beat, and fun lyrics. Her verse is so catchy and even Baby Tates verse is good too. Usually features aren’t that interesting, but Tates verse really was that catchy. Just a fun, hype song.
I love ashnikko, it sucks that she’s a guilty pleasure of mine to listen to because a lot of people don’t like her or her music. I find it so catchy and energetic, it makes me feel so good and confident.
This was the first album i listened of hers (her only album) after I found Stupid Boy on random shuffle on Spotify. That and her hit song Daisy made me want to listen to this album. I really love the vibe of this album, and while Ive grown away from it since, I still find myself ... read more
Oh boy, review for Twigs BEST album ðŸ¤. It’s only my third most streamed tho after Caprisongs and Magdalene :0
Preview: LP1 is a skipless, alt R&B, experimental, sensual body of work that makes me feel so vulnerable and real. After a whole year, I have decided that I like this more than Magdalene, the songs just have grown better and I actually want to go back and re-listen to each of the songs. I’m sad that Twigs has gone in a more pop direction, even though it’s still ... read more
Oh boy. My second Twigs review. Let me just get this out of the way, this is a masterpiece. def a much different vibe from Twigs previous works like Melissa and LP1 but it’s so fucking good still. I decided to listen to this album with Cellophane in it after falling in love with Caprisongs and some songs oN LP1
Overall: The production, raw emotions, it’s just a great heartbreak album. I’ve never cried to a song because I’m just built different, jk i’m just not the ... read more
While this EP has some issues with it, I find it close to my heart, with so many of the songs being replayed at least over 100 times, all in different places. This ep has its lows, but mostly highs, it has some of her worst songs ever, but also some of my favorites from hers. It was just a little gift to fans while we wait for her next album, it didn’t really help tho because we still had to wait years, but it was good at least

Their first comeback, they DONT MISS. Fucking bops and sobs.
The whole cinematography and idea behind these two songs and how they’re connected. The ditto MV is beautiful, the lore and the sad reality of idols in the music industry that’s depicted in OMG and Ditto is so sad. However, the upbeat songs is ironic because it kind of masks those sad feelings, kinda like how idols and celebrities show their fun and positive side, but deep down there’s a lot of conflict and problems. ... read more
FUCKING LOVE. My favorite k-pop group of all time lol, and they only debuted 8 months ago.
I’ve fallen in love with newjeans because of their y2k style, different type of music and production, and their choreographies. I’ve learned their Hype Boy, Cookie, and OMG choreo because I WANTED to. Newjeans also helped me listen to K-pop again, actually getting into it and listening to it on my own without needing to have my sister blast it on TV all the time.

Oh boy, my first music review on AOTY. Ofc I had to choose the first album i listened to from one of my favorite artists: Twigs. This is also my second most streamed album OAT, after Magdalene lol, according to Last.fm
I’ve been following Twigs for a couple years when I found out about Cellophane, but I never listened to any of her other songs. When Caprisongs released, I decided to give it a listen, and boy was I intrigued. This album made me listen to her other projects and boy, I was ... read more
