I thought that this was really cool, might need to re rate here soon because I will get it so much more this second time around. He saved the art rock for the end but I love where it took me. It was like intense emotions in the 3D experience and then completely detaching from that situation the inspo came from as he tuned in to what was going on within himself which was cool that I felt that through the music. His melodies always are so cool
This EP is the best of his work, without a shadow of a doubt. He was HUNGRY, hurt, and ready to share his aura and his pain. This was emo art-pop, incredibly personal, and well done. His vocals were very very intentional and an 808 never felt so good. Not to mention the use of brass instruments, strings, along with that LA F-boy (califormula if you will) energy. It's incredible and we will forgive him for his most recent albums...

I feel so lucky discovering it so late. Her vocals are some of the best of our time and she nailed the poetry, with simple dare I say but effective production. She let her voice do all the work. Boom!
This album is perfect for the gym. I am a little biased because meta angel was one of my favorite songs last year. I honestly would maybe even score this a little lower, but it's definitely cool! The concept is like thereeee overall, but it didnt feel art pop til the later B-Side with the except of some of the opening tracks. It feels disorganized, too many songs maybe for my taste, but it is FUN. & that's what matters!
I actually love this album with all my heart so it hurts having to be objective. What he did here was astounding, some of the best production I've ever heard. It was so lively whilst also being so intimate and I resonate with the messages on male on male love/sex/the in-betweens. His voice is beautiful throughout the whole thing, he kept it in a flow but also interesting. In a row was my only one I just didn't like, it felt very A-Side compared to the legendary B-Side and we all gotta ... read more
