Some pretty bad opening tracks, but it picked up at the end (kinda). Very average album with a few bangers thrown in here and there.

Metro Boomin will surely go down in history as the best trap producer of all time, especially considering this album. Savage Mode ll is without a doubt his best work thus far - and 21 has progressed so much as a lyricist since his first couple of projects. He spits the essential trap bars, but also delivers clever and funny punchlines meanwhile.

The production is absolutely immaculate. The transitions from “Runnin” to “Glock In My Lap” and “Slidin” to ... read more

Inconsistent. It has some great tracks, such as "Run" which is beautiful. But then there's also the likes of the opening track and 777 which both really didn't click with me. Overall good, but there still so much room for Joji to improve.

JIK was not bad, just dissapointing. It's not an album anybody often will revisit due to it being very different from both Kanye's normal type of music and from the state of modern music. Sounds more like a soundtrack to a movie

I only listened to this because I wanted a new lowest score on my profile😃👍

My man really rhymed "life" with "life". But it doesn't matter. Cause Big Sean finally finds himself at a happy place in his life. He's been dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts for a long time, and Detroit 2 is him finding happiness. The production on this album is probably the best on any hip-hop album in 2020, and that's no surprise when it comes from Ye and Hit-Boy. There are a couple of bad songs on this project, such as "Time In" and "Everything ... read more

This album is about personal enjoyment. Experimental doesn't mean bad. But experimental doesn't make an album instantly good either. Kanye did his best to create a new sound, and in some instances, it worked, and in others, it failed miserably. This album should be looked at independently from the rest of Ye's discog, so it's only fair to rate this album accordingly; I'm sure if I listen to this album some more, it'll grow on me. But for now, I'll keep loving the highs, and keep skipping the ... read more

Negro Swan is a beautiful record, with a really nice idea behind it. The adaptation and use of "Swan Lake" is a genius idea; I haven't seen anything like that in music before. The album can get repetitive though, and all "Negro Swan" is lacking, is a better musical performance.

Favorite track: Charchoal Baby

Least favorite track: Dagenham Dream

I would’ve never imagined Nas making such a great record in 2020, two decades after his ultimate peak. The outstanding production from Hit-Boy made this album sound very fresh, and Nas does what Nas does best: spitting bars. He did not miss a SINGLE time on this album and proves to the world, and himself, that he’s one of the best MCs to ever touch the mic.

Denzel shines brightly on the first half of this album but then dips on the last half. While there still are great flows and lyrics, the lack of catchy hooks really drags the last part of the album down.

I randomly decided to give this album a listen, and what I regret the most is that I haven't listened to it before today. I think this might be the most consistent album I've heard this year. Lianne makes all of her songs sound so smooth and in-place, by having beautiful production AND vocals. Absolutely loved this album, and I'm sure it will grow on me the more I listen to it. An upcoming R&B classic
