Alligator bites never heal is an incredible first full length project. Doechii shows off her incredible rapping skills on tracks such as nissan altima, wait, and catfish. she also shows her amazing production in songs like alligator bites never heal, Beverly hills, and bloom. overall this album gives some amazing late night vibes and rapping performances. I HATE ANYONE WHO HATES ON DOECHII FOR ONE SONG.

This album may seem boring at a first glance, especially if you are listening to it without doing much else, but this album is genuine perfect background music and is great for studying and other activities similar. It is soft and calm yet still encapsulating enough to enjoy the tracks individually while focusing on them.
I found this album somewhat disappointing, its abstract style felt less like abstract and more like it was truly just put together poorly. The tracks were great at times but those moments were somewhat overshadowed by the low points sometimes
I really love this album, yes I have a bias towards the Cocteau twins and anything they are involved with, but this album is so much better than I had expected it to be considering it was made so long after Elizabeth Fraser broke away from that group. Her vocals are amazing and the album does a wonderful job of building subtly towards the best parts.
