I’ll rate it once I relisten to it when it’s properly put in my region later tonight. (Used a VPN made spotify to listen). BUT WE ARE SO BACK!!! I am an absolute sucker for the rock records Mitski made in her mid career, and this goes back to that in a big way. Production sounds rough and rather adjacent to that on BMAMC (something like Townie), the melodies are very reminiscent of a lot of BTC. uhh.... no... huh...radio friendly slop with a theatrical edge and really bad lyrics...why did they go in this direction? probably money and fame... but still dude...this is terrible.
this is bad. I am disappointed. the production/instrumentation as a whole is pretty decent, but everything else is really bad. That chorus is awful. so bad.
