Portraits Of Tracy - Drive Home

Holy. FUCK.

I REFUSE to believe an 18 year old made this.

That was an INSANE experience!

I'm honestly speechless!

This upcoming generation is something fucking else holy shit!

I was WAY to immersed into this that I even thought my mom calling for lunch was part of the album.

I ain't spoiling shit. You NEED to experience this for yourself!

This might just be my AOTY.

Portraits Of Tracy - The Party

Very nice kinda trippy, but still good stuff! Hopefully the album is just as great if not even better!

Edit: HOLY FUCK the album version of this song is INSANE!

Quiet Light - Blue Angel Sparkling Silver

I liked the opening song, the rest failed to keep my interest. There's elements of a fantastic ethereal album in here but the execution is not the best unfortunately. Check out the opener tho it's really good!

1017 ALYX 9SM & Ethel Cain - Famous Last Words (An Ode to Eaters)

Wow. That song was so gentle and careful. I feel like a delicate china plate being handled with the most sturdy of hands. This song feels like a safe heaven from all of the earthly burdens. Its such a nice and pleasant song.

Avocadream - Carrot Carnival Chronicles

I was listening to recommend music on Spotify and came across this lil cutie of an avocado and couldn't help but fall in love. It also helps that the song I was listening to was pretty damn good! So I just now decided to give the album a listen to see what it's all about. It's less than 9 minutes long so why not?

Ethereal Echoes:
Weird start to the album. We got some generic 80's synths going on with some, to borrow from the title of the song, ethereal Guitar doing some gnarly notes to make ... read more

Blonde Redhead - Sit Down for Dinner

Pretty decent stuff! Not bad for after a nine year break.

This is the first I have heard from this band but they got some nice stuff in this album. I see people compare this to Radiohead whomst I am saving for when it's the right time. So if this album is a taste of what to look forward to when that fateful day does arrive, then I am a bit exited but not ecstatic.

This is a decent listen with some highlights just nothing all that amazing like the reputation of Radiohead that these guys are ... read more

glass beach - the first glass beach album

For a rock band I sure do enjoy when they are doing anything BUT rock. There's some nice ambient and vibey tracks that I fuck with but once the guitar starts and things get more exiting I somehow just get uninterested in what I am listening to. It's a solid album overall and if you do like the rock parts then I think this would be something real special for you. To me it's good but nothing to write home about. I do like the cover art, I'd like to hang out with that lil guy and star at the red ... read more

Son Lux - We Are Rising

A pretty whatever listen. Only cared for "Chase", otherwise it all sounds about the same to me.

Henrytennis - Bay Leaf and Singers
50

Upbeat cheery Jazz to play on the background and not pay attention to.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Theia / The Silver Cord / Set
60

Meh. At least I can tolerate it better than their attempts of thrash metal.

Griffinilla - Built in the 80s
95

This is such a unique FNAF song yet it fits the series PERFECTLY! I adore how unapologetically 80's it is with all of it's cheesy fun! It's so fun to sing and dance along to!

Griffinilla - They'll Find You
80

This is just a classic. That's the only word that comes up when listening to this. It's among the OG FNAF songs and it stands the test of time. It's a fun Halloween party song as well!

Griffinilla - Stay Calm

Aww this is such a cute and silly song. It ain't going to win awards or anything, but it reminds us that these bots are just kids trying their best.

Trickywi - Painted Faces

Another hauntingly beautiful lullaby by Trickiwi. It's so soothing listening to this. I love this song and Children's Requiem so much and wish that there was more FNAF songs that were lullabies because of these gorgeous songs!

Trickywi - Children's Requiem

This song gets to me every time I listen to it.

Trickiwi's soft voice is absolutely perfect for the backing music that is from the "good ending" of FNAF 3. I am absolutely mesmerized by the lyrics and storytelling of this lullaby. I am both calm and sad after hearing this beautiful song. If you think FNAF songs are all about crazy synths and robot singing, I encourage you to listen to this song to see the other side of FNAF Music that's honestly my favorite half.

Rezyon - Revenge

This is just as catchy and fun to sing along to as "Can You Survive". The production is a lot more simple with some synths placed in the background. They hardly matter cause the song itself is the star of the show. I don't know what it is about Rezyon that is so entrancing, but I could listen to his vocoded singing all day. This song is so addictingly good that I HAVE to listen to it multiple times over before I even start getting tired of it. It's such a charming and fun song and if ... read more

Alright last one for the day!

I am exited for this one since it's always been a favorite and I KNOW that it's going the an absolute BLAST listening to this banger once more!

Goodness another rush of nostalgia for that opening intro with the 8 bit chirps and the reveal of Rezyon's name. I really wish this guy made more music he didn't provide much but everything he did were such bangers!

We get the Halloweeny whining synths with the 8 bit melody to start this off right until the iconic ... read more

CK9C - You Can't Escape Me

Oh shit the date got fixed! And I can review this properly!!!!

I need to relisten to this hold on a sec...

Alright now that I listened to it a third and fourth time to make sure my thoughts on it are solidified. It really isn't bad but it's not all that great. I like the eerie start to this, then the synths and drums knock away the ominous atmosphere away like it's nothing. Then ck9c starts off introducing the Fnaf crew and their ominous threats to the innocent child within the bedroom. ... read more

CK9C - Do You Even
80

I love the festive intro with the ringmaster welcoming the audience to Circus Baby's pizza world or whatever that place was called. Then right after we settle into a dark bass while Ck9c puts out a threatening deep rumbly voice we he sings about the dark fate that the audience is store for. Do they even have a clue of what these high tach bots are really capable of?

For the Chorus Baby makes it real evident that these bots are planning on killing you and is confused that they aren't running ... read more

CK9C - Funtime Dance Floor

I'm a bit disappointed in my review quality for the last one so I'll put some real effort for this one and the rest of others for this artist. ( After I am done with that I am done for today. I want to do something other than Fnaf music before the day is over. No worries I'll be right back at it first thing tomorrow!)

I barely remember this song since I only listened to it a couple of times. I probably didn't really like it.

The production is honestly real groovy and fun to listen to. I ... read more

"@AidenBowe45 I honestly am just too familiar with this kind of style of straightforward Blues, sure it's classic but I find it stale and uninteresting especially compared to other styles that bring more to the table of the genre that makes for more engaging listening."

"@AidenBowe45 I am likely not the intended audience since I am a grown ass 26 year old listening to these lyrics. I may not be fully aware of what the kiddos are into these days, but when I was an edgy teenager in middle school, shit like this banged for the girlies."
On Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind
"@OldTask This album is definitely geared towards the artsy fartsy folks that appreciate just how deep into the rabbit hole this experience takes them. Definitely takes an experienced or a very open ear to truly "get it." Not everyone does, but the ones that do praise this shit up and down like I do."
On Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind
"@Moosky This album is fit for a very particular meditative mindset you have to be in for the Inherent strangeness to pack as hard of a punch as it does. Like many albums I love this is like a sonic drug trip that is more to be experienced than enjoyed as regular music. This album has a legendary status because it goes deep into this surreal experimental soundscape unapologetically and not everyone is going to get it, but those who do are immensely rewarded. I recommend you to maybe expand your horizons and listen to ambient/Psychedelic/ experimental releases similar to this so your pallet is more used to what this amazing album has to offer. Cont."

On David Bowie - Station to Station
"@Jakeisthedoctor Man I really should delete and reevaluate these albums I reviewed in my early days when my taste wasn't nearly as refined yet expansive as it is now. Back in 2023 I was throwing my inexperienced taste into classics head first with no idea what I was talking about. It's part of the reason why I am exploring the 60s and 70s again along with bolstering my limited playlists. To great success too with my 60s playlist going from 90 tracks to over 750 and growing as I am now appreciative of the greatness that I am consuming. I promise when I get to these albums again down the road, I will likely have a more reasonable take. For now, just enjoy how unhinged I was in 2023."
On Vapora - Oceanside Mall
"@frogofprog oh yeah, Vapora. I definitely had mixed feelings with this artist. They had some genuinely great vaporwave along with...well ones that missed the mark. Yeah I was a bit more loose with my reviews back in 2023 just experimenting with how I liked to present my reviews. It results in some reviews I am still proud of to some I just go crazy on. It is also an era where I was still forming my tastes on like twenty+ genres at once so don't take my early reviews that seriously."

On Fabrizio De André - Vol. 1°
"@I_love_chickenw Good for them and the people that praise their writing. That's not the reason I fell in love with music so I don't focus on it. And that is just as fine as those who do the opposite and completely mute the music and gush over the writing. Different strokes, we all appreciate art in our own individual ways."
On Fabrizio De André - Vol. 1°
"@I_love_chickenw Maybe I'll appreciate that part of the experience when I decide to give a shit about the lyrics. Until then, those pink floyd classics offer an amazing sonic experience regardless of whatever they are yapping about."
