CK9C - You Can't Hide

Ahh now this is iconic, especially everything past the the two minute mark. It's such a cool song and the animation was made by XGBX Dasion my favorite FNAF animator at that time! He was the perfect choice for the now iconic music video! I felt so happy for him that his work was on a viral song! I wonder if he still does animation these days he had a lot of promise back then.

I'm a bit saddened that this is the only Fnaf songs from this artist on This site. So I will add my favorites in a bit ... read more

Hmm I wonder why the comments are disabled. * looks up Mandopony* oh...oh god no! Yeah this Guy is a piece of trash. I hate that he has to make this absolute banger of a FNAF song. Big nostalgia, big jams, know every word by heart. Ok we can move on to other artists now!

Random Encounters - Fnaf the Musical (Original Soundtrack)

I was trying to decide where to go next then everyone's favorite @TheUnrealGamer brought this album to my attention. I need to listen to this masterpiece before moving on to the other stuff. Let's get into it!

Opening Title:
Very nice very dramatic and ominous. I'm so ready for the nostalgia to come!

!!!!!WARNING PERSONAL STORY ALERT!!!!!

Back in this time my youngest brother was having internal problems and was stuck in the hospital for a month at this point. I was a bit depressed about my bro going through all the pain and confusion in a foreign building with all those strangers. Even worse my Mom was gone that whole time to look over the 12 year old down syndrome kid. So I was stuck with very simple cooking and fast food AND MOM'S HOTSPOT WAS GONE THUS I COULDN'T WATCH MARKIPLIER AND ... read more

I remember thinking that this was going to be it for FNAF. And this song was going to be among the last ones I will ever hear from the series. Oh how wrong I was back then. The main reason that I have a soft spot for vocoders that makes you sound like a robot is because of songs like this. I never thought of it being a human being singing to me but one of the bots. Even to this day I always think of it being a robot singing to me.

I love the motif of the iconic tune from the first FNAF song ... read more

That chorus and break down carries this just ok song.

The Living Tombstone - It's Been So Long

Way back when I didn't really care about this song. It was a different singer and it wasn't as strikingly memorable as the original FNAF song. Over the years I have grown to appreciate it at least. Today as I listen to it. It's an absolute banger! I may have no real nostalgia attached to this one, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's among the most infamous Fnaf songs ever!

Back in late July I was scrolling through my feed and randomly saw @TheUnrealGamer review of a FNAF song called " Game Over Y.G.I.O." by MiatriSs. It triggered A FLOOD of memories from 2014-18 of everything I encountered during my stay in the FNAF community.

In response to the flood of Nostalgia I reviewed that song as well as every FNAF song from two of my favorites Tryhardninja and DAgames. There were some songs that aged well, some aged horribly. I think I reviewed over twenty ... read more

Oneohtrix Point Never - Again

Holy shit that was phenomenal!

I didn't care for the short intro, but once the Album got past that I went on an unforgettable sonic adventure! I purposely stopped criticizing what I was hearing and just let the sounds do their thing. As I come out the other side of this album I can proudly say that it's among the best albums that 2023 has to offer! Highly recommend you partake on the adventure yourself. Sept if you haven't heard anything from this artist like me.

Eartheater - Powders

I loved the first and last three songs. The ones in the middle were ok I guess. Overall a great record that's a real engaging listen.

Ed Sheeran - Autumn Variations

Consistent and pleasant to listen to. Nothing remarkable but at least I am not cringing at points listening to this. So for Ed's standards a pretty good album!👍

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass

The best post break up solo album zero questions asked!

I just relistened to this and man does each individual song still hits so hard. ( Yes, even the Happy Birthday One. It's so festive, cute and charming that I can't help but smile while listening) It's very apparent that George was very passionate for these songs and your spirit never fails to rise when you hear that soulful voice and amazing guitar! The theming and tone is so spiritual that I feel like I'm at church at points. Everything ... read more

WTF is even going on anymore. It's honestly insane that this was made in 1969. Imagine this crap in Abbey Road. I honestly can't describe what any of this is but I HIGHLY recommend you check this insanity out! I know one thing for sure, this shit is crazy and I love it! You fucking go off George!

US Golf 95 - Metro City

Very soothing vibes to tour the metro to.

I like this don't get me wrong it's just very easy to get distracted from this. I need at least a little something to keep me engaged beyond the vibes or else my mind will drift off and I will most likely fall asleep.

It's a nice chill vibe throughout which is just fine. I think it's funny how US golf 95 went from like a fake 90s video game soundtrack to vibing at the city in three albums. So I recommend this if you want to chillax for a while. I ... read more

Honestly this is just as good if not even better than "Swing Tournament". Like the vibes for this album are so good. Good variation amongst the tracks as well. Honestly screw it, it's their best work yet and I love so many of these tracks SO MUCH! Especially the top three, AND ESPECIALLY THE MOST FAVORITE songs. Those are legit can't miss tracks amongst a lot of solid to great ones. I highly recommend you check out the album overall it's a real enjoyable experience!

Whoa what a jump in quality! I wasn't expecting some of the songs to be THAT good! This is overall a vast improvement from the previous album. Lots of great music to enjoy in here! I especially recommend you listen to my three most favorites!

Favorites:
- Scandinavia ( 2nd Favorite)

The GOTY of 1995 goes to...

Not this game obviously but still damn if it existed and has this as a soundtrack...Oh the fucking nostalgia the 90s kids would have for this. It would be their version of Minecraft. Does it mean that it's all that great. Not really, it's fine mostly. I liked " Start Screen", "In The Rough" and "Golf 95". Otherwise I found it pretty bland.

Infinity Frequencies - Exit Simulation
70

On their latest effort Infinity Frequencies fails to reach the heights of previous albums. It has a weak start but brings it home strong by the end. It's still overall a solid record, but pretty below the standards that I have held for Infinity.

Recs:
- Procedurally Generated Corridor
- Embracing Catastrophe
- Tethered to this World
- Exit Simulation
- The Mind as a Territory
- Emerging Technology
- The Sand Pierced His Flesh
- Haunted Earth
- Never Forget

Infinity Frequencies - Between two worlds

Alright this is the one album that gets the most attention and praise. I have listened to "A Faint Signal" many times before and is the reason why I am familiar with this artist. I was scrolling through Tik Tok at like 2am on a Saturday night. I landed on a very whimsical slideshow post that was like thirty pictures of fairies, unicorns, all kinds of fairy tale things with that song playing in the background.

Here's an example-

Infinity Frequencies - Closer Than Ever

I surprisingly didn't like this one as much. I guess it's because there's less variety which kinda results in a lot of the tunes mushing together with no distinct identity betwixt them. There's still some good stuff in there, I'm just slightly disappointed that I didn't get as much out of this album.

Highlights:
- The Glass Key
- Clarity
- Returned
- Forgiven
- Fracture
- It's Happening Again
- A Visitor
- Something Waiting Just Beyond

On Muddy Waters - After the Rain
"@AidenBowe45 I honestly am just too familiar with this kind of style of straightforward Blues, sure it's classic but I find it stale and uninteresting especially compared to other styles that bring more to the table of the genre that makes for more engaging listening."

On girl in red - if i could make it go quiet
"@AidenBowe45 I am likely not the intended audience since I am a grown ass 26 year old listening to these lyrics. I may not be fully aware of what the kiddos are into these days, but when I was an edgy teenager in middle school, shit like this banged for the girlies."
On Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind
"@OldTask This album is definitely geared towards the artsy fartsy folks that appreciate just how deep into the rabbit hole this experience takes them. Definitely takes an experienced or a very open ear to truly "get it." Not everyone does, but the ones that do praise this shit up and down like I do."
On Swans - Soundtracks for the Blind
"@Moosky This album is fit for a very particular meditative mindset you have to be in for the Inherent strangeness to pack as hard of a punch as it does. Like many albums I love this is like a sonic drug trip that is more to be experienced than enjoyed as regular music. This album has a legendary status because it goes deep into this surreal experimental soundscape unapologetically and not everyone is going to get it, but those who do are immensely rewarded. I recommend you to maybe expand your horizons and listen to ambient/Psychedelic/ experimental releases similar to this so your pallet is more used to what this amazing album has to offer. Cont."

"@Jakeisthedoctor You mentioned that across the board I have wild takes, are there more recent examples that raises your eyebrows?"
On David Bowie - Station to Station
"@Jakeisthedoctor Man I really should delete and reevaluate these albums I reviewed in my early days when my taste wasn't nearly as refined yet expansive as it is now. Back in 2023 I was throwing my inexperienced taste into classics head first with no idea what I was talking about. It's part of the reason why I am exploring the 60s and 70s again along with bolstering my limited playlists. To great success too with my 60s playlist going from 90 tracks to over 750 and growing as I am now appreciative of the greatness that I am consuming. I promise when I get to these albums again down the road, I will likely have a more reasonable take. For now, just enjoy how unhinged I was in 2023."
On Vapora - Oceanside Mall
"@frogofprog oh yeah, Vapora. I definitely had mixed feelings with this artist. They had some genuinely great vaporwave along with...well ones that missed the mark. Yeah I was a bit more loose with my reviews back in 2023 just experimenting with how I liked to present my reviews. It results in some reviews I am still proud of to some I just go crazy on. It is also an era where I was still forming my tastes on like twenty+ genres at once so don't take my early reviews that seriously."
On Drake - Scorpion
"@Triplo Thanks! I don't often have something to say about an album these days past a standard passing observation, but popular releases from the 2010s are a good way to get be talking at least a little bit."
On Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel
"@RSmithFan What I meant was that this was the first album that felt like it was made in the eighties. Don't know why I phrased it that way either."
On Not Marshall - FRIDAY NIGHT A DRESS2IMPRESS MODEL HAS TO SHOW OFF HER NEW AFRO HAIRSTYLE
"@engar where? what? I don't see anything eyebrow raising."
On Fabrizio De André - Vol. 1°
"@I_love_chickenw 👍 Whatever you say bud. I'll keep on doing what I do regardless of your berating."
On Fabrizio De André - Vol. 1°
"@I_love_chickenw Good for them and the people that praise their writing. That's not the reason I fell in love with music so I don't focus on it. And that is just as fine as those who do the opposite and completely mute the music and gush over the writing. Different strokes, we all appreciate art in our own individual ways."
On Fabrizio De André - Vol. 1°
"@I_love_chickenw Maybe I'll appreciate that part of the experience when I decide to give a shit about the lyrics. Until then, those pink floyd classics offer an amazing sonic experience regardless of whatever they are yapping about."
