Sorry, but this album is basically the same old same old. And I can't bring myself to care even in the slightest.
300th review Special!
I think it was around summer 2016 I was watching the DVD release of Hunger Games: Mockingjay. I don't remember which one it was but there was a specific scene in the movie where it was a grand scenic shot with what I think was a Dam(?) IDK it's been the better part of a decade since I seen the movie. ANYWAYS it wasn't the visuals that imprinted that moment into my memory to this day, it was the FUCKING Angelic singing over dramatic music that just sent fucking goosebumps ... read more
FUCK I could listen to these angelic voices all day!
Man the Bee Gees are just too amazing! God I adore their falsetto harmonies! The production of this album is surprisingly fantastic as well! I loved almost every single song in this album and I HIGHLY recommend you check this out as well! Super underrated!

5 minutes of pretty standard late 70s punk rock. Nothing impressive here, but at least they were quick with this EP.
Eh, not as enjoyable as Tubeway Army's "Replicas", but there some good stuff in there.
Highlights:
- Complex
- M.E.
Holy shit that was amazing! It was a little slow and a bit repetitive at points but otherwise what an amazing progressive electronic and progressive rock album! Highly recommend you check out this underrated gem!
Very nice, very futuristic.

I am finally about to finish the trifecta of discogs to complete my first project. The Discography of The Garden: Deluxe Edition is going to become one of my many lists so I am looking forward to finishing the first. After this I am going to get back to the grind for my insane project of listening to every acclaimed album from 1965 to today. Currently I am in in 1979.
The thing is that I haven't started seriously reviewing and rating every album on this site until midway through 1973. Hell ... read more
According to the cover It looks we are back to the goofiness. So hopefully it's actually more fun to listen to this time since I didn't really appreciate his album "Another Word for Joy"
Vape Smoke:
Hey I actually enjoyed this one! It's a nice casual bop to enjoy while working on whatever. Good stuff Enjoy!
Under the Winking Coconut Tree ( feat. Divino Niño):
I'm honestly surprised in the jump in quality from the rather boring last LP to the two songs so far of this album. ... read more
Alright, I didn't enjoy his last album. It was getting more boring and grating to listen to the further in I dive into that bloated album.
I am going to try to approach this like I do any other album. Zero bias or expectations. Well other than the enduring hope that there has been at least a marginal improvement since the last record. Anyways let's see what this album has in store...

Eh. It's okay. There's really nothing that is worth talking about for this song. It's just ... read more

Travel:
Goofy lil song. Might delete later😝
Lifespan( I hope it's long):
Don't we all wish to live long lives? Too bad our bodies have to break down as a consequence of all the experiences and wisdom gained ( or not) over the years.
This song is less obviously goofy but is still has a silly tone to it. I guess we know which twin suggested the jester gimmick.

Hell yeah, love the grooviness of this song! That bass tho! This is just a ... read more
Looks like we got a fresh new album from a fellow AOTY member to check out! I never know what to expect out of these albums so I am excited to dive into this bad boy and see what it's all about!
Empty Homes in Blue Light:
Damn what a fun first minute jam! It's simple, effective and just manages to not overstay its welcome. I was going to start griping if it went yet another round, but it was cut off in time thankfully!
We then shift to a slow duo of the Piano and drums. A fantastic readying ... read more
So we have arrived. Puzzle's latest album. It has been a rewarding experience to see his journey up to this point. I am exited to see what his latest efforts have in store.
love is a place to hide-
Hmm. Very polished, but not that interesting to listen to. The lyrics doesn't offer much engagement either. His weakest start to an album in a while.
Poison Oak-
Another miss. I did like the very end with what I think is a distorted xylophone stricken with a simple melody. But that's the last ten ... read more
Fog Horn-
Fog horn+ vibes+ drums+ slight hip hop influences+ Puzzle's easy going singing=the good shit. Highly recommend you check this out!
You Don't Have to Impress Anyone-
The only part I don't like is when it suddenly gets all crazy intense and Puzzle's screaming is so distorted that I just hear noise. It definitely fits the time that this would be made tho. It being 2020 and he and his brother were in the "Kiss my Super Bowl Ring" era which was nothing but chaotic with mostly ... read more
Damn, "Loose Cannon" is Puzzles best track of his discography so far it's so much more polished and has a more lush sound! This is more of the quality you come to expect out of each of the twins that make up Garden. I am happy to see that the good music is starting to flow into Puzzle's individual work!
With "Junk" there's such a lush atmosphere and I am happy to see that the bass and drums I complimented from his last album returns in this track! That's 2 for 2, its ... read more
