Sounds like Thom and Jonny letting loose, almost in counterpoint to where A Moon Shaped Pool felt tense and sad. The Smoke is a particular highlight, the reggae-influenced bassline groovier than Radiohead has ever dared to be.
Solid album. Nothing quite as anthemic as on their last two, but much more consistent and fun to listen to as a whole.
Bon Iver continues to make sonically interesting music, though this feels like an album where he just had fun playing with and tweaking the sounds he's used in the past rather than trying to provide a totally 'new sound' as he had with the last 3 albums.

I was looking forward to this, since I quite enjoyed Turn Blue and it's been a while since we heard from The Black Keys.
True to the title, the instrumentation on this record is straying into classic rock territory while the singing still remains very Black Keys. It almost entirely is composed of distorted, chugging guitars and catchy choruses, so pretty standard for them!
