Strong release that has that 90s brain dance sound, seems like this could be an alias. The album contains a great mix of breaky, drill and bass tracks, along with the odd melodic idm track you expect to from an aphex release.

The ambient tracks on this are dead, nothing redeeming about them, so painful to listen to just drab meaningless ambience. This comp is a collection of his eps, Rival Dealer being the standout as its the best thing hes ever released, few good tracks scattered around the other eps but that just sums up buiral recently, bit hit or miss.

Severly overated album, falls into that pit of come down ambient house/techno, where the tracks are lifeless and empty, mostly for me forgetable, plently of artists fit into this come down field who have executed similar ideas more consistently, e.g sphongle, carbon based lifeforms, BoC and even FSoL other relase Dead Cities. Think people like the idea of this being a come down album over the actual content.

Quite disappointed, majority of the tracks sound quite bland and almost like an amateur ripoff of a HANL track. There was potential with the last two tracks being fairly solid and a few moments across the album grabbing my attention, in the end though still a lacklustre album.
