I have tried this 'classic' before and did not care much for it. After thoroughly having enjoyed the 2024 album from Shatraug's other band Horna I decided to give it another go. A few goes actually. But it is not that great, nothing on here is bad and the screams are decent, probably the best aspect of the record even. My main drawback is probably the riffs that feel uninspired? Strange, as Nyx by Horna has amazing riffs.. Oh well.
A bit of the CD era this album cramming as much as possible into the running time of a disc. But it is mostly very good, especially stuff like No Good and Voodoo People.
I never got Charly. The highlight on this EP is the piano breakbeat of Your Love.
You cannot deny the power of Out of Space. The b-sides are ok, nothing special.
