'39/Smooth' is Green Day's debut studio album released in 1990. While literally every single track on this album is catchy and fun to listen to, it's hard to find somewhat of a consistency due to the album's length and the amount of tracks. There also isn't any experimentation which makes '39/Smooth' as basic as it can get in terms of 90s (Pop-)Punk. As already said, it's pretty fun to listen to and the songs sound good, ... read more
'Solar Fire' is another Progressive Rock album I really wanted to listen to and review. I found its vinyl in a random thrift shop and I got it for five bucks. That's actually a fair price for an album by a band you like with it not even having many scratches on the record and having an actual good sound quality. While it's long intro seemed very promising at first, the rest of the ... read more
I would have really wanted to give this album a higher score than I finally did because I love Jimi Hendrix' music in general with his band 'The Jimi Hendrix Experience'. The main problem here is that my three favorite songs that have been released on any version of this album aren't on the tracklist of the original release. I'm talking about 'Purpe Haze' which is without a doubt my all-time favorite song by Jimi, 'Hey Joe' which is ... read more
