I can't grade this yet because I haven't listened to the whole thing. I'm a huge st vincent fan but I hear so many mixing/production issues on this, it's almost not listenable to me. Anyone else hear the same problems?
I am a huge clutch fan and this album wasn't my favorite for a long time. The thing this album has more than any other, to me, *atmosphere*. Most of the songs on the album album dabble in this really edgy, dark, conspiracy sci-fi that I really wish there were more movies, shows and books about. A few days later my dad sent me the 99% Invisible podcast on ND's life. At the very beginning, a snippet of three hours played and my jaw hit the fucking ... read more
