As much as Black Sabbath isn’t really the best song on here, Black Sabbath absolutely changed the rock game with Black Sabbath. This was also about 3 months before The Beatles released Let It Be even though they MIGHT have done it before Sabbath.

Good lord I wonder what all this talk about the mountain is for. I wonder if there’s a way I can learn about this mountain. Damascus is my favorite song by the way.

BRAT on drugs. This was very fun but some songs killed it a little bit. Some parts, I feel, were a little corny like the part on Jeep where Kim awkwardly says “fuck” like it’s her favorite curse word. On the same song, she says “pew”, and I felt a little something collapse inside me when I first heard it. Overall, very fun album with some parts that fall flat. I love you Frost Children.

Did he take the nitrous?
This is probably by far Drake’s worst album ever. I actually hated everything after the first two or three songs. This is the most disappointing thing ever and it was painful to listen to. Putting your family on the cover for whatever this is is insane
ABSOLUTE CINEMA. This is my favorite Death Grips album. It’s one I come back to a lot and I don’t think there’s a single skip if you were to listen to this in one go. The production is such a clusterfuck and it touches my brain in all the right spots. Thank you, D.G.

These songs are beautiful and this is probably The Beatles’ most well presented album. I love how it’s laid out and if you can get past the 3 minute outro of She’s So Heavy, you will love this.

How the actual hell do you keep tempos like this. The last song alone was such an experience.
I went into this completely blind on what the rest of Boards of Canada’s music sounded like outside of Beware The Friendly Stranger and Gyroscope and I actually kinda liked it. I loved the overall sound of the album switching between something I’d hear in an old Neptunes album and these atmospheric ambient tracks, some with these weird, garbled vocals in the background. The vocals included in other tracks that I favored over others make the beats hit harder than originally intended ... read more
I (currently) wouldn’t consider this one of the greatest of all time.
I liked the production, the lyrics, and DOOM’s insane rhyme schemes on each of the songs that I haven’t really heard before from a rapper.
However, it’s mostly the features and the way they ‘race’ against the beat that does it for me. At times, I felt that it was difficult to catch up with what they were talking about. ‘Raid’ confused me a lot. MED’s flow on this song ... read more
for the love of God why wasn't Make It Jingle released as a single
I understand this isn’t really meant to be pleasant. I see the vision but I’ll need to come back to them another time.
Unironically Kanye's most bipolar album. I love his energy on a lot of tracks but I think some of them drag on a bit or it's a little boring on parts. The verses on a few closing tracks are very good.
James’ energy is a bit dull on some tracks but most of the other ones make up for it. It’s like there’s still a little soul left from their early works.

Most of this ain’t it, Sorry for Now doesn’t even sound like a Linkin Park song. I see potential in Talking to Myself and some of the last songs’ lyrics are genuinely sad to read. Really sucks this was 2 months before Chester died.
