Real talk: This has been a super rough year full of difficult unexpected life changes for me and this album has helped me to push on through so much of it. As such, I don't rly have the words to formulate a proper review but know that it already means so much to me. I got to see them live in Tampa back on October 11th which was an amazing experience I'll continue to hold on to. Facebook Warrior Mom cover art aside, Sanctuary is their best release since 2011's self-titled. It could stand to lose a few songs and certain creative choices don't suit the band the best but it remains admirable overall. Forever Without You is such a strong ballad.
Best: Rapture, Forever Without You, Sanctuary, Beautiful Lie, Afterlife
Worst: Calm Down, Tell Me When You've Had Enough, Who Will You Follow
A couple tracks don't fully click with me but a classic, regardless. It's home to some truly perfect pop tunes. The vocals on The Beautiful Ones and title track are insane.
Best: Let's Go Crazy, Purple Rain, I Would Die 4 U, Darling Nikki
Worst: Computer Blue

Best: Bully, Highs And Lows, All The Love, I Can't Wait, King
Worst: Circles, White Lines, Damn, Whatever Works, This A Must
It is controversial to say this is sorta emo?
Best: God, Isolation, Mother, Working Class Hero, Love
Worst: I Found Out
