Very mixed feelings, some songs go so much harder than they should, others sound very uninspired. But it's decent for a bands debut album! They definitely mastered the metalcore sound in Waking The Fallen
DAMN surprise drop. So much better than I thought it would be. Where was this in requiem???
Eh, im not crazy about this one, the mixing is so god awful 😭i dont care for the autotune bridge, the synths are annoying, the screams are cool though, but i hope they dont further continue in this direction.
FINAL SCORE : 40
Ok, some hours later, after a few listens, it grew on me a bit, i still just wish his vocals weren’t so filtered and were a bit quieter, the synth during the screaming bit still hurts
THE ACTUAL FINAL SCORE AS OF 12:17 AM DECEMBER 6TH : 70
Not their best work. There are some REALLY strong songs, but there are also some very weak ones.
FINAL SCORE : 76.7
This is NOT the worst album of 2023, anthony fantano, not in the slightest. Although it’s not their best, there are a few weak songs, it's still a pretty good album. I had such low expectations going into this and I came out of it pleasantly surprised. Besides some issues I have with the mixing of the drums, I cant believe this gets hated on as much as it does, people are just so picky about a band changing their sound in the slightest. Also why is there a daft punk song

The best intro to metalcore, every song on here screams “Monster Energy” and I love it
Not bad, not bad at all, but its not as catchy as their more popular stuff, but not bad by any means
Fairly consistent, im gonna have to listen to Daron's other projects to compare but its pretty good!
More memorable and easier to listen to than killing spree
Wow, a solid metal album overall. Although some songs on this album can sound similar, they're still different enough to not be a copy and paste
Not bad mr shadows and friends, not bad...
(UPDATE)
the more i listen to it, the better it gets
although the vocals can seem a tad bit weak at times, its still solid
Pleasantly surprised with this one. I can hear Beatles influences in here for sure
John Frusciante's departure sure declined the quality of the band, because damn, i am disappointed
Decent, better than i expected tbh lol
S.S Recognize is underrated as hell, what a banger
Not bad, A lot of the songs can drag on and sound the same, but thats my only complaint tho
