Completely devoid of any of the magic from the original. All their music sounds exactly the fuckin same it’s ridiculous
Great, very compelling sound. One of the better Dream pop albums ive heard. They get pretty wacky with some of these sounds.
Very groovy! I like all of the songs on here. 2 of them went on my personal playlist. I’d need to read deeper into the lyrics to get my full opinion on that, but from just hearing the thing you can tell there was a lot of heart put into it and Apple very much was passionate about the album. Great stuff, easy listen. I like it a lot. Amazing.
Not much to say, it’s punkish rock. It’s fine. I don’t find myself returning to this very often.
While I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of metal, this album remained enjoyable, guttural, technically impressive, and disturbingly beautiful. It paints a great dark atmosphere which is both felt and heard. I like it, a lot.
Boringly generic and mediocre. I heard this in my friends car and I couldn’t help but come on here and say my peace.
This is one of my favorite albums ever. There’s an undeniable psychedelic peace to this album, through and through- it is engaging, peaceful, and compelling.
Genuinely not sure why the critic score for this thing is so horrendously low. This is a great album. It drags on just a bit but that’s fine, because it sounds great. That first track was ridiculously long and I thought it was awesome. However I will say it was easy to let myself lose attention from what I was listening to and think about something else and have to replay a part of the song, but other than that I think it’s great.
Pretty damn good for a one guy act. His inspirations are clear, but that doesn't make his work bad. It's very clear the percussion is computerized but that didn't ruin my enjoyment of the music. There's room for improvement but I see a LOT of potential, especially since this is only his first multi-song project. Songs felt a bit samey though, very reliant on echoing vocals, tone of the guitar didn't seem to change in a meaningful way. But overall, I'm impressed. ... read more
When i first started this album i was slightly disheartened because i had already been listening to Glover's work in order of release. However, I was pleasantly surprised as This album is unbelievably sexy sounding. There is so much spirit and soul imbued into the sound of this thing, it sounds so goddamn good throughout the album. This shit injects 2000mL of lust into my bloodstream whenever I hear it, and it sounds great. The production on this project is so goddamn good and everything ... read more
This album
Is a weirdly mixed bag for me. There are a few standout songs that are genuinely pretty good, but other than Heartbeat, bonfire, and Les, this whole thing reeks of insecurity, fetishization of different races of women, weird production, and really really corny lines. I understand this was his first real album so I imagine he didn’t have the resources necessary to make a great SOUNDING album, but the whole time glover is just complaining or being slightly misogynistic. But the ... read more
Very, very groovy. The album maintains an overall sound without the songs sounds really anything like eachother. Very wise use of different computerized instruments.
Very generic pop. It’s fine. It’s pretty boring, production is good. However it’s very obviously Jack antonoff on some of these songs and he’s kind of a dick. Not a very mentally stimulating album. Whatever.
Various stories of people afflicted by a bleeding anus. Great shit, thank you speensauce.
Undeniably dumb, but its fun. I love it.
I quite love Vinny vinesauce, and I’m quite pleased to say he is involved in making good music as well, especially for a YouTuber.
She's no katy, but this is fine. Not as good as PPC but its alright, better than HOT TO GO though.
massive step up from the sickeningly catchy "HOT TO GO!". Slower, very well produced. beautiful voice as always.
