This album is very good and Depeche Mode has potential to be one of my favorite bands. This album pairs catchy pop songwriting with great atmosphere.
Perhaps one of my hotter takes is that this album is just “pretty good” and not great. Nothing really stands out to me about this album, even if it is rather enjoyable the entire run time.
A very emotional and introspective album from Ritchie and Corey. I am glad they’re still giving us new stuff.
