This album had a lot of hype around it, and it really did live up to that hype. This album is a wild ride, and I had no idea where it was going to take me next.. This album really shows that he belongs in the same discussion as best rapper/producer in modern times.
Favorite Tracks: "Noid", "I Killed You", "Judge Judy", "Sticky", "Thought I was Dead", "Like Him"
A different path for Toro y Moi. Here we see him experimenting with more hip hop beats and rapping. It is not a full on hiphop album, but it defiantly ventures there. It is not exactly his strong suit. I prefer chiller Toro y Moi.
Favorite Tracks: "CR-R", "Hollywood", "Undercurrent"
Nice little bedroom pop album. Some elements of shoegaze and indie rock music. Some beautiful, atmospheric music. Seems like the perfect opening act for Billie Eilish.
Favorite Tracks: "The Hamptons", "Real Life", "If Only"
This album expands on their debut album in just about every way. This album hits hard and just keeps coming like a wave of sound. Not the prettiest album, but the uglieness in this album is what makes it so appealing.
Favorite Tracks: "I Am Dog Now", "Frownland"
