This record should be used to show people how important an album’s flow should be. Because this is a smooth ass listen with every song building off one another beautifully. Cameron Winter’s writing here is once in a lifetime, he is like the Paul Simon of our generation. What a perfect album. I’ve truly been killed.
Genuinely think GnR’s knockin on heavens door is up there as one of the worst covers ever.
I mean obviously it’s a 100. I first heard “Mr. Self Destruct” when I was seventeen in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. After listening to this about 5 or 6 times I’ve really grown to enjoy it as much as I remember loving this band back in middle/high school. Vessel was the first record I 1) ever bought 2) remember being obsessed with, so all the callbacks on this are like a nice warm hug to me.
