This is matches up to be equals with Geogaddi and Music has the Right to Children in its quality and creativity, although can't match the distinct aesthetics that those 2 had. This one is more aesthetically confused, aside from the prevalent 80's and Kraftwerk influence you can hear throughout the album
I was like what the hell is atmospheric drum and bass? Now I understand. This album is very dense album filled with 1 emotionally potent song after another. Just an hour and thirty minutes of melancholic heavenly pain in musical form
Can't do anything original in drop D tuning cause this damn band has already done it all
This is what happens when you don't let Julian compose all of his bandmates parts for them.
wow, for a 3 and half hour album, this was surprisingly enjoyable. Some really groovy songs and great guitar solos on this. But I do not need to hear 3 different versions of chungas revenge and a 15 minute drum solo.
