This song is absolutely amazing. But why is she so faded on the cover? Like she’s on the most high grade weed possible
Saw this at Glastonbury when she performed it on the mini stage on TV. Loved it
Another good rap album
This is my first time listening to JID and I’ve always heard great things and I can see why. JID is great on here with decent flows and I like his voice. The beats were also good. Really enjoying all the great rap albums that are coming out this year and I’m excited for more
Really up and down
This is my second listen of M.I.A and I had higher hopes as I really enjoyed her debut. But this is extremely up and down for me. Obviously it’s got “Paper Planes” which is a classic but I also liked songs like “Jimmy” mainly because they felt quite similar to what was on “Arular”. But a lot of this stray from what made the last album so great and makes it a lot less enjoyable. Still though there is obvious quality here, you just ... read more
One of the best live performances ever.
When I first got into LCD Soundsystem this is something I came to last and it was pretty much like listening to everything they had made all over again. The amount of energy and passion put into these performances are unmatched with how brilliant it is. This album also works even well when you see it on video. The only reason I don’t give it a 100 is because it does drop a tiny bit in quality round the middle part but everything else is flawless
This shit is so good
I love LCD Soundsystem. I saw them live in Brixton when they had residency there recently and it was so good. They played a lot of songs from this album as they rightfully should. This is such an upbeat and danceable album that is just as good as “This is happening”. To casually bring these 2 albums out and be that amazing you just gotta give credit for. Also, “All my friends” will forever be amazing and one of my favourites
Enjoyed this one
I do love an album that is full energy from the start. This is definitely one. I was first brought to this when I was with someone and they were playing “Paper planes” and it went onto “Galang” after it ended which is definitely my favourite song off the album but everything else isn’t too far from that. It’s pretty amazing too that this album was made in 2005 as it feels like something that would get traction today. Very ahead of her time, ... read more
Very enjoyable ngl
Hayley Williams is someone I’ve always been interested in with her first solo album being great and I absolutely love Paramore so this is a great surprise that was met well. This is definitely her best solo work. It feels a lot more fleshed out and thorough where sometimes it wouldn’t be previously. Also a lot of this feels like certain parts of “After Laughter” with the upbeat tone but bit down lyrics which worked really well
Pretty disappointed but it’s not all bad
I was caught up in the hype for this little project as I enjoyed the singles and the promotional stuff on her instagram but the first half, except from the great single “nice try” was pretty unlistenable. It picked up a bit in the second half but I feel that the singles overshadow the rest of the album. Still though, I’ve came away with a couple songs off this so I guess it’s better than nothing
Didn’t know what to expect but I like it.
I had no clue who Khamari was when I went into this but now I definitely do as i enjoyed this album a nice amount. I’ve sort of had a craving of recent for R&B and soulful type music and this definitely fit what I was looking for. His voice is great and the songs are upbeat. I’m glad I looked into this
Pretty good
I thought that this was very consistent overall with no significant bad bits. The features are great on this too. I especially like that Pharrell Williams is on this a ton because the man has a great voice that I don’t get to hear very often so I appreciate that. My favourite song by a long way though is “M.T.B.T.T.F” which is an absolute hit I love it loads
Didn’t know what to expect but come out liking it. It’s good
It’s not too bad
I heard all the mental stories about The Who and especially Keith Moon who was off his rocker and it interested me enough to give it a a listen. It can be quite boring at times definitely and I was a little disappointed but I did enjoy my time with this. There is probably better classic rock stuff out there though
Pretty good ngl
For his genre, think that Daniel Caesar is one of the best artists out there so I always hold it to high standards and it was met well here. His vocals are so good as always too I absolutely love it on here. Very decent project overall from a guy that can’t miss
Feels nostalgic weirdly. Very good song though well worth the wait
Rating edit: 92~>100: I listened again and it’s actually amazing had me emotional
