Billlie’s last EP was in 2024, yes 2 years ago. They released a few great singles since, but nothing much and like many, I missed hearing something new from them. Because you know you’re always going to get something new and exciting. 𝘵𝘩𝘦 ... read more

She is returning with a brand-new EP and two exciting collaborations.
I want to open this by talking about the two guest. First thing first, she announced the release of the main song “NAIL”, a few days prior to the release, with the mention that my dear french/algerian Lolo Zouaï would be on it. That was such great news for a frenchie like me who has seen both artists grow throughout the years. And on top of ... read more
𒄬 𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘌 𝘖’ 𝘊𝘓𝘖𝘊𝘒 is the first album from LATENCY, a new girl band packed with former members cignature (disbanded in 2024), ZZONE (aka Jee won), Semi and Haeun (aka Ye Ah), Hyunjin from LOONA and Loossemble (indefinite hiatus since 2023 and 2025). Content creator Heeyeon (aka Fingerstylish) also joined the band. Hashtag’s Dajeong was set to join the group, but she dropped around the time she joined another group, CLEO, in an attempt to revive ... read more
I honestly don't have much to say about this album as the only two things I got from it after listening are 1) the abusive use of long interludes, and 2) the vocal processing that gets annoying at time. It sucks the album gets scrapped by annoyances like these that could have easily been avoided.
In fact, I think “No Way Back” is pretty great, So!YoOn!'s voice behind the guys is nice subtle yet effective touch, and I'm here for it. Sure I would have liked if she had ... read more
In 2026 mentioning gay people in a song shouldn't be seen as something big, but because of the industry they're a part of, I do see this as something we should put forward. Not only to see this sort of move happen again, but to normalize queer love in South Korea, a very conservative country where such topics are taboo (but y'all should know already).
I enjoyed the song, and find the production really nice compared to what they've been doing for the past few years. ... read more

The year is 2025, SUNMI has been in the K-pop industry for almost two decades (18 years with Wonder Girls’ debut in 2007). But it’s only now, after a bunch of EPs and singles, that she finally gets to release her first full album. And despite the time that went by, there are still so many people excited about this release. Which, among other things, screams her name and feel representative of her work and sound. ... read more
my girl needs to break free from 88rising... she made some of the best k-pop songs of the decade, we cant let her get away with this kind of stuff
i hope she's at least having loads of fun in the making process because if it's not even 1000% playful/enjoyable/fun experience...
It's way too short but it's pretty sweet while it lasts. I think its length doesn't play in its favor as after the first listen I couldn't remember much from what I just listened to. Thankfully it gets better after a few plays, when you pay more attention to the lyrics. I'm playing it through Spotify so “Sea Song” starts right after, and once it goes on, it's hard to remember anything from “Something Familiar”, apart from knowing you had a ... read more

Sound-wise, this release has its place within aespa discography. It has that aespa-esque sound design with its industrial/metallic tones. However, there are many ways to make an EP with this aesthetic in mind, and while the group has shown countless times how well they can pull it off, 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘔𝘢𝘯 feels underwhelming. It's sort of like if someone decided to make an aespa-type EP, but didn't have the skill or vision to do it justice. ... read more
I am loving this collab. It's the kind of collab you never really expected but when you think about it makes so much sense, and results in something pretty legendary I don't really know how to put it perfectly but you get me. The music isn't top NMIXX or top Pabllo but to be honest, the excitement I have with this being a really, it doesn't really matter. It's a nice track I think, NMIXX's singular productions comes to bring a new taste to Vitar's energy and ... read more

𒄬 i-dle’s first EP after their recent rebranding isn’t better or worse than their previous craft, as it follows the same blend of pleasant and generic songs.
𒄬 “Good Thing” and “Girlfriend” are a good example of the group's inconsistency. Both fit into the “fun music” box, but while the former does ... read more
