can't believe im giving an a&a project this high of a score, but it's unironically pretty good. there's the occasional corny lyric, but i genuinely really like this EP. Instrumentally, this is my favorite work from them, but as always; lyrics and delivery from tom aren't stellar in some parts. I have really high hopes now for their next album despite not being a fan of their previous work.
This album marked a pivotal part in Tyler's career, and especially his experimentation with different sounds (pre flower boy). Love it or hate it, it still holds some of Tyler's best ideas, even if they weren't executed perfectly.
Can't say much about this album other than it's a cult classic for a reason. Seems like people either love or hate this one and I can see why. I personally love this album, but it does drag on quite a bit, and it hasn't aged the best.
Alright, don't know where to start for this one. I've been a fan of Tyler since around the time Cherry Bomb came out, and I can say that he has not disappointed with an album release since (not saying cherry bomb was a disappointment, just mean he's kept a long streak). This record by far is his most fully realized in terms of writing and the style of music. Like this is some classic Tyler, what's there to be disappointed about? Overall, this record sounds like a lovechild of all of his ... read more
the demo version of gray light deserved to be on the album
Definitely underwhelming for her first track back in 4 years, but its a nice little chill song
I had pretty high hopes for this album after being a fan of the first two singles, but the album tracks just didn't quite follow through. There were a few hits, but the misses outweighed the hits. I think Olivia has tons of promise to become a great artist and songwriter, but this album just felt as if each song had literally the exact same premise; As if this whole record was referencing one specific relationship (not necessarily a bad thing). I actually really enjoyed the more ... read more
(not really a review) I have no beef with this album in the slightest. Personally my favorite release of 2021 so far
Definitely a step in the right direction after such a massive success such as currents. Top 10 project of 2020 in my eyes
Good pop album, definitely worlds past her debut. Excited to see what her sound grows into.
Classic skate punk record, Just way way way underproduced. Sounds like a demo if anything, wish they would've had a higher budget from cargo to work on this a bit more. The songs are funny, and probably some of the most memorable blink songs ever.
This ep is CRIMINALLY underrated. Moments like the Yelawolf feature kinda turn me off, but it's still toms last work with the group so I've cherished it with all I got left in me. I love that blink continued and grew off of the writing from Neighborhoods, and we're able to incorporate aspects from their previous records.
This is one of my favorite skate punk ep's of all time, no contest. This version of waggy honestly could have Dude Ranch's version beat as well. Zulu and Wrecked Him are two tragically underrated blink songs.
