Much more hit or miss than the previous outings. I’d do anything for Love is a return to form of the operatic ridiculousness of Bat 1, and Frying Pan, Rock and Roll Dreams and Objects in the Rear View Mirror could fit easily into Bat 1.
The rest though...ehhh. It kind of sucks.
This for sure goes hard but it’s hard not to be swept away in the Wagenerian ridiculousness of the whole thing.
Standouts: Two out of Three, Bat, For Crying Out Loud
A tremendous effort of a prog album. Very, very tight and resists the impulse that later prog bands had to spiral off into self indulgent wankery,
Best tracks: All three of them
Every song on this album is absolute perfection. Redefined rock. Multiple eargasms.

This sounds a LOT like Boston’s eponymous album. That’s not a bad thing, because Boston’s first album was chock full of bangers. This is less incredibly polished but it is no less good.
Standouts: title track, a man I’ll never be, feelin satisfied

This is a perfect slice of 70s stadium rock. One of the biggest selling albums, let alone debut albums, ever - and there’s a reason you cannot go 30 minutes on an American classic rock station without hearing one of these songs.
