This album is great and does give off the vibes at various times of someone struggling with mortality, then a celebratory sound of "Ain't Dead Yet" in which they have beaten cancer. Congratulations to them, and I wish them a healthy life and recovery from this point. This is my first album experience from Joshua Ray Walker and he won me over with the storytelling and his vocals. The behind the scenes story of this being made before, during and after his cancer treatment and ... read more
This is a bright spot for showcasing Ella Langley's vocal talents. 11/19 of these tracks I enjoy. However, the others do really highlight her weaknesses and could've been left on the cutting room floor of the studio.

While I liked a couple of songs from the first half this is a bad album. Feels almost AI at points with how robotic and to the formula Drake sticks to without anything of interest. Nobody asked for Sexyy Red on a slower R&B Drake song. This while sonically better than Maid of Honor, just highlights the cruise control elements of Drake's career of the past decade, some of the worst parts without being entertainingly bad. WNBA was okay. Slap the City was nice especially the featire on ... read more
