Within the last week, my opinion on the usage of AI in artwork has shifted to be more lenient. This arose from two works in particular: the friends& album, folx; and this song, Slavery.
In the case of folx, AI is a component of a microcosm of "accelerationist cultural production" which in itself is constructed to contrast the Marxist beliefs of the artists behind the album.
