i think i slightly prefer vanity but this is still a really solid album from start to finish. i wouldn't say there's a single subpar track here although it never really fully reaches the highs of the first two tracks
ranges from mildly interesting sonic experimentation to tedious and oftentimes grating dross, more times then not being the latter unfortunately. a huge disappointment for me considering how much i adore their prior two albums (as well as both of their eps). regardless of the quality its still nice to see that they are actively making music together as i had assumed the project was defunct given the decade plus gap between the release of common era and this album's announcement.

allegations aside this is a dreadful track, one of his most irritating vocally (this is the whiniest he's sounded in a good bit) with a shitty sounding "free for profit grunge type beat" instrumental on top of it and miserably cringe lyrics. and considering the present allegations this is yet another disgusting attempt at save face

each of these songs start out so immaculately and then billy opens his mouth
kinda neat instrumentally but i absolutely cannot stand how the vocals sound on here, they feel so overproduced and synthetic
sonically pleasant yet immensely vapid with some very questionable lyrics
edit: this album is lowkey growing on me a lot. it kinda just sounds like despicable me music at points but there's something so intrinsically comforting about this album as a whole. secret world is up there with some of their best songs. 50 -> 70
the tonal (in)consistency of his last album without any of the highs. shoutout amaarae for having what might be the worst feature i’ve heard this decade on a mainstream hip-hop album
also no midlife is outrageous would've been the best song by far (after maybe lithonia)

genuinely don't understand how this has such a high rating this song is so absolutely horrendous, even beyond the fact that it completely butchers the original song it samples nettspend's vocals on this are actual brainrot
