The vibe and scenery is more vivid and unique than any other album I’ve heard of. Personally I would have liked him to lean even more into singing like he does on the singles. Also forgone is genuinely one of the best songs I’ve heard.

Absolutely amazing instrumentals and soul crushing progressions and song structure. I love the atmospheric production and the shoegaze influence. Not the biggest fan of the vocals, though they work in many of the heavier moments. Sometimes it just sounds like rykard from elden ring if his screaming was drowned out in reverb and buried so heavily under the instrumental that it is next to impossible to make out the lyrics. Love the songs that take a more moody and gothic tone but probably wont revisit the songs that sound straight out of the 80s
