Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
99

What a beautiful album. I love the different styles used, making the album a box of chocolates, not know what you might get from it. I like the lessons each song gives and motivation/story that is told within them with some even having a foreword and/or afterword, which really gives the song depth and gives audiences deeper insight. My favorites off the album are “DARLING, I” “Judge Judy” “Take Your Mask Off” and “Like Him” and it’s not to ... read more

Fiona Apple - When the Pawn...
100

What a beautiful album. From the big dramatic start that really hooks you in from the get go, to the sad and slowish end. This album has to be one of the most cinematic albums I’ve ever heard, each song sounds out of a Bond flick or a Broadway production. The concept helps drive this with mainly talking about relationship issues, and it just rounds out the emotion of this. I honestly can’t believe this is her second album and for it to be this good (I’m not saying early albums ... read more

Deftones - private music
92

I got recommended this and man is it good. I haven’t ever heard any Deftones song or album before so this is all new to me and I do truly hope I don’t make anyone made with this review. I liked all the album but my favorite part would be the B-side (not saying A-side is garbage), and my only complaint is the mix. I don’t know if it’s just service I used, but most of the songs are hard to hear the words, being drowned out by the instruments. This doesn’t seem like a ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
100

Peak, from the cover to the track and extra songs. The stand out songs on this nice Jazzy Hip-Hop album imo are “SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE” “RISE!” “BLESSED” “WHAT A DAY” and “WHARF TALK”, but those don’t matter because all of them are so good. Although there are some ‘joke’ songs that are less then a minute, it doesn’t do anything but make it a funnier experience, which keeps the score a 100 for me. ... read more

Blondie - Parallel Lines
100

I love Blondie but I always thought of them as more Pop-Rock but oh boy does this prove me wrong. Tracks like One Way Or Another, I Know But I Don’t Know, and the closer are so Punk, yet they balance disco-pop with it all still with songs like Sunday Girl or Heart of Glass. From opening to even after closing, this album is great all the way through and there is no song I wouldn’t listen to after. I love how this album can be a trip through time even, with songs reminiscent of the ... read more

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
100

Wish You Were Here might be one of the best albums I’ve listened to. Nothing in here is skippable and none of the long tracks get dull and repetitive like Echoes in Meddle. Welcome To The Machine and Have a Cigar are really good songs and the title track is nothing but amazing. All parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond are good and make for good tracks to listen to while doing things. Peak album with peak cover

Pink Floyd - Meddle
98

I’m starting to get into Pink Floyd and I listened to San Ttopez and I knew I had to listen to this Album. From the beginning of this rather short album, it immediately drags me into the atmosphere of the band. All the songs on here all really good and I wouldn’t really want to skip them, but a few things I don’t like. I would love to give this a 100 but I find the opener and closer to be rather dull at some parts. Now the songs are still amazing and I still will re-listen but ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
100

2nd album I have listened to by Mr The Creator and I got gotta say, it’s peak. I love concept albums and this might be my favorite. It combines emotion struggles and confusion with and entire 12 song album (which I think is most ideal for albums) to make a beautiful masterpiece. Although they are the highest rated on this website, my standout songs in this album have to be: EARFQUAKE; GONE, GONE / THANK YOU; I DON’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE; and ARE WE STILL FRIENDS? But even if IGOR ... read more

AJR - What No One's Thinking
92

This is what I have been needing. I love AJR and seeing them grow is just beautiful, and I love this post TMM stuff and the sound of it all, I can only hope that the following album is still able to capture this magic, as I feel after OKO AJR found their style. I think this is a really good EP and Ryan having 2 songs is something I was a welcome surprise, a good one at that, and all the songs really capture where they’re at right now. Just like its predecessor, What Everyone’s ... read more

The Beatles - Hey Jude
95

Hey Jude: A very beautiful song that showed that the Beatles, do in fact still, have a soft side. Paul sings to Julian trying to help him move forward and helps the pain of his mom being replaced with Yoko in this beautiful ballad; and honestly I feel like this can just be a song to anyone in need of moving on with life when they get stuck in a cross roads. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that it goes on for 4 minutes longer than needed, but I understand why.

Revolution: The ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
82

So this is my first album I’ve listened to by Tyler, The Creator and it did not disappoint. It’s a very good album and my friends were right with it being a good starter as it’s not as vulgar as The Wolf Trilogy but not so deep like Igor. My standout tracks to this album have to be Garden Shed, Boredom, 911, November, and Glitter (I know these are basic but I find them very good). The only draw back is that those songs are from the C/D side. I didn’t really enjoy the A ... read more

HOA - My Romance Is Not Over
98

I saw poll asking who would still be listened to in 100 years and The Beatles won, but many people doubted it; I think this band proves them wrong. I loved this band’s covers of Beatles songs but it wasn’t until recently that I decided to dive deeper and I am not disappointed. For only having a handful of songs out, they do not disappoint. There’s not a single track on this EP that I would say is my standout track, just because of how good every song is. I can’t wait to ... read more

The Beatles - Free as a Bird (2025 Mix)

A very nice remaster of the best track out of Anthology, I can only wish to know what it would’ve been if it got turned to a real Beatles song

Laufey - A Matter of Time
98

This is the first time Laufey album I’ve listened to but after listening to ‘Lover Girl,’ I knew I had to give this album a listen. I like how taking more inspirations from the past artist from these kinds of genres, this too is a concept album. I love the relation is has with time and just the movement of the points of love that it goes (one song is the narrator wanting love, but by the end they kinda want to kill them.) My personal favorite from this album is probably ... read more

The Beatles - The Ballad of John and Yoko
95

Ballad of John and Yoko is a great translational song, with it still having some of the back to basics ‘live’ aspects of Get Back with some of the great rhyming and rock John has in Abbey Road.

Old Brown Shoe is what I think is the best Harrison track to show his guitar skills, I always thought his best guitar work was on Abbey Road and this sorta helps my point with these being singles released around Abby Road. My only problem is that it can be a forgettable song but who’s ... read more

The Beatles - Get Back / Don't Let Me Down
98

I honestly prefer the album version of Get Back than the single, I like the parts that were edited in from the Rooftop Concert, but I do very much enjoy the ending of the song with telling Martin’s mother is waiting for her

Don’t let me down is probably my favorite John Lennon song with the Beatles. I like this single one a little more than the Rooftop Concert versions, I like how more bluesy it is and I honestly wish any version was on the album

The Beatles - Let It Be
100

Elmore James got nothing in this baby! This album is often tagged ‘The Album That Killed The Beatles” or something along those lines, but what’s brilliant about it is that even at their worst (relationship wise) they still make banger music. If someone were to have told me that they were all still good friends before/after listening to Let It Be, I wouldn’t have batted an eye. I like how back to basics it is, most songs being along the lines of something made during the ... read more

AJR - The Maybe Man
95

Oh and I thought that Neotheater was emotional. This entire album feels like a personal journal put to song. You have the third Turning Out, and oh my they up the emotion, Inertia is such a banger song that felt like every ounce of emotion was put into it (I still find it crazy that it almost got cut), and God Is Really Real is the true sucker puncher here (RIP Gary). I love how the album could be out on repeat with the opening and close tracks looping. My only drawback is that the singles, ... read more

AJR - Living Room
68

This is probably my least favorite AJR album and it’s mainly because I’m a fan of their later works. I usually forget about these songs but there are still a few standout ones I really enjoyed; Infinity is such a nice heartfelt love song, I’m Ready is such a great debut song, I love the barbershop quartet mix with pop in Livin’ On Love, and the very controversial Woody Allen is still a banger song. It’s still a great debut album that viewed, especially now, with ... read more

AJR - The Click
90

What Ana amazing blow up album, and a Weezer collaboration! From opening to closing I really enjoyed it, the only song that isn’t my favorite is Weak and it’s still a banger. My only complaint is that, it isn’t the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition is miles better than this one with having not only more songs but better ones, the only one of the deluxe that isn’t my favorite is Normal and that mainly is just because it’s forgettable to me. No but why did the ... read more
