Oh my days. This is a beautiful album and the fact it’s all a medley elevates it more. The opening track ‘Speak To Me’ is like an overture that helps bring you into this movie of an album and with how each track flows into each other leads to the amazing ending that is ‘Brain Damage’ and ‘Eclipse’. Why is this actually good? The concept is a really interesting one that fits an album perfectly and it’s a wonder why I haven’t seen more of this kind of concept. An album that is built around it being a radio station that’s playing while you descend to the afterlife, and it’s really well made. I heard the medley and knew I had to listen to this album and I mean what a fun listen. Although I would say this doesn’t hold anything groundbreaking or new for Paul but it’s still great with songs like ‘Uncle Albert/Admiral Hasley’ ‘Smile Away’ ‘Heart of the Country’ and ‘Long Hair Women’ probably being the best off of this album.
