This album took a while to grow on me but now it's one of my favorites. The thing that finally clicked for me is how personal the album feels: the vague lyrics and Phil's soft tone give off this air of intimacy that I've never heard anywhere else. The louder parts are pretty sparse but give the album so much emotion with how simple its instrumentation is.

The songs blend together in way I don't love but there is definitely is something I find really interesting about the album. The little run from tracks 4 -6 is pretty good.
I think there were a fair amount of moments where I enjoyed elements of songs, but I feel like a handful of songs blend in with each other and I wasn't a huge fan of the lyricism at points.
This is so catchy and also so immersive at the same time! I haven't listened to TPAB in a while, buut I think I prefer this album over it
There are some parts about this project that I didn't like as much as their 1st album, but I still prefer this over the other. I think it trades catchiness for a less immersive atmosphere (for the most part).
