This album is so good. It's just banger after banger after banger.
Though, I think some tracks could be easily cut.
Either way, one of the few albums I revisit frequently.
The Mountain was a pleasant surprise for me. I'm not a big fan of India's music (not that I have heard a ton though) but this was something I enjoyed from start to end.
A big comeback for Gorillaz after some pretty lackluster albums.
Dude... Seeing this movie and hearing Slow Summer Eve's piano totally distorted in Sweet Danger made me chainsaw-maning it all over the screen.
On a serious note, this movie is a banger, can't wait to see the International Assassins arc adapted.
I've been a huge QOTSA fan for a few years now, and I've been ignoring this album for a long time. Today I finally decided to listen to it, and... It's good; not bad or boring, but not great or memorable either.

Personally, I don't mind "nothing happening" in an ambient song. For me, it's more about the concept it's dealing with, even if it's not the "right" one (the one the artist intended), so your personal enjoyment of a song will vary depending on how far you stretch your imagination. I think this applies very well to this album.
