WELL!
This album is so good. It's just banger after banger after banger.
Though, I think some tracks could be easily cut.
Either way, one of the few albums I revisit frequently.
The Mountain was a pleasant surprise for me. I'm not a big fan of India's music (not that I have heard a ton though) but this was something I enjoyed from start to end.
A big comeback for Gorillaz after some pretty lackluster albums.
Dude... Seeing this movie and hearing Slow Summer Eve's piano totally distorted in Sweet Danger made me chainsaw-maning it all over the screen.
On a serious note, this movie is a banger, can't wait to see the International Assassins arc adapted.
I've been a huge QOTSA fan for a few years now, and I've been ignoring this album for a long time. Today I finally decided to listen to it, and... It's good; not bad or boring, but not great or memorable either.
Maybe I need to listen to it more, but from what I've heard, my first impression (except for Make It With Chu and Sick, Sick, Sick) is that it's too unique within QOTSA's discography. It's like the transition between Lullabies (which is the other ... read more
Personally, I don't mind "nothing happening" in an ambient song. For me, it's more about the concept it's dealing with, even if it's not the "right" one (the one the artist intended), so your personal enjoyment of a song will vary depending on how far you stretch your imagination. I wasn't a huge fan of NIИ's other Ghosts projects (see what I did there, guys? I copied the "И" from ... read more
I'm a big fan of ambient music and I've been listening to it with a more niche background, to be honest I've been disappointed a lot... but this was a pleasant surprise despite the strange concept it adopts. I give this 8 most epic fish out of 10 most epic fish.
"I'm not crying to lyrics I don't understand *sniffs* ... I swear."
How To Leave Town, Twin Fantasy, and this album make the perfect trilogy of Car Seat Headrest. Personally, I enjoy it more musically than the other two, but I prefer those lyrically and conceptually, which matters more to me :)
I don't like live albums that much, but this one is sweet to listen to. I kinda miss Isaac's vocals, but I have high hopes for their next album.
Definitely a step-up from their last album, but it's not much tbh.
It's fine... but I'd rather not listening to it again, at least all the album.
You want to sleep peacefully? You want to study or practice your hobbies? Want to do an exam with a hidden earphone? This album will help you do everything while sounding interesting!
It's interesting, but somewhat repetitive for my taste. The first and last songs are bangers though.
It took me a lot of time, but I finally "get" this album... and I fucking hate it so much, so much that I love it :)
