why the hell doesnt this have any ratings i had to make its own page because I'm the only one who cares about music ig
there are a lot of good, angsty lyrics on here, but i thought at times they never really went anywhere with the build up. it might be supposed to be framed as that kind of rambling, spur-of-consciousness emotional leaking but i don't really think it got all the way there. still a lot of solid sound on here that definitely fits in with the twin fantasy inspiration.
cant believe she literally stole drake's album title format, wow super original. this album made me rock back in forth in the bathtub as i felt the unknowable weight of the future crash onto my shoulders
the masculine urge to disappear from my son's life. while it's listed as a country album, there are so many other musical tones and influences that I've never heard put together like this. it's just so different.-you can really feel all of sturgill's personality throughout the entire album. ASGTE has some of my favorite songs of all time, but there is a lot of whiplash between tracks in terms of pace and style which i think could have been fleshed out a bit. still fantastic.
holy shit dude. dont make me describe this album i don't have the vocabulary.
shut up. don't listen to this album with your $600 noise canceling sensory deprivation prostate stimulating headphones and complaining about the mixing. listen to this album like you're 11 years old using a l'oreal kids no tears shampoo bottle as a microphone. i wish there was a bit more distinction between the non-single songs, but the hits from this album have been stuck in my head since release day. she getting emotional all over my creature.
amazing vocals and instrumentals that just get you excited to listen to the rest of the song. classic country storytelling with some pop twists. i wish i was good at singing so i could belt this in a bar off a highway in the middle of tennessee.
kind of disappointed in this release but i think the hits will end up growing on everyone enough that the lesser parts are just completely forgotten.
there's some corny shit on here but the amazing production and wacky genre jumping more than make up for it. super fun, great car album.
as a bedroom pop hater, this is one of the few albums that really works for me. great hooks, awesome storytelling, really really stoked to see arlo keep growing.
rap music at the heat death of the universe. there's so much behind this album that builds up the status and it absolutely delivers. rip groggs.
punisher? i hardly know her!
i listened to this album lying face down on a concrete basketball court
i genuinely can't describe how this album makes me feel beyond just saying that it's fantastic. incredibly raw, tender, but still exciting, and it tells so many relatable stories. anyone who says they don't like country music can suck my peck.
absolutely his best album but every time i listen to a full denzel project i feel like there's so much more that he could do with his talent.
every morning that doesn't start with kill v maim is a morning wasted. there are so many fun songs on here and stuff that i will never fully comprehend unless i am granted my life-long wish of unlimited access to the mind of grimes.
