My 2nd concert was these guys, and while I have listened to them before, there was like one or two songs that I added to playlists. Safe to say, there's gonna be more songs being added, because while the concert was a banger, this album is EASILY the best they've put out. Like legit the first seven songs are very great in their own right!
The first concert I went to was Good Kid, and had a good time, but the state of Good Kid right now just feels like to me they need like to make ... read more
IM A BITCH MY NAMES ROBERT SUCH A BITCH WHOSE NAME IS ROBERT, IM A BITCH, YEAH IM A BITCH, IM SUCH A FUCKING BITCH
I HAVE NO HOPES, HAVE NO DREAMS, AND A TINY LITTLE PEEN AND IT DOESNT EVEN FUNCTION ANYWAY, BECAUSEIHAVEERECTILEDYSFUNCTION
A fire cover (literally) from one of my GOTYs, thanks Flambae lmao.
A week before Thanksgiving Kendrick? Damn, now you got me feeling grateful for this new drop. It may not be the fullest potential of what he can achieve on this album, but there are some key bangers and highlights throughout. It's the spirit that keeps on giving, I suppose. :D
Yesterday I went to a concert, featuring none other than... these guys! (In case you didn't hear the other reviews about these guys) The concert itself was very, very amazing! Funny thing was that Jacob and Nick, two of the band members, decided to do a fucking Beyblade battle in the middle of the audience, to decide to. That, and they played the Beyblade theme song right after, which slapped as usual. (I would like to again apologize to those group of girls that I accidentally pushed when ... read more
It may not be the most groundbreaking album, and some parts nearly put me off, but goddamn I had a pretty fun time with this bad boy. I guess unlike other bands, Judas Priest doesn't age like shit, but like fine, coarse wine.
I'm in a better mood when first listening to this than I was with Break.
First off, it's miles better than Break. Like, MASSIVELY
But it sounds like the exact same like everything else the band have made. I mean, you could put this in like, Good Kid 3 or any other of their EPs and you wouldn't even notice. However, this sounds like it's a grower. Feels like the more I listen, the more I'll like it. This is why it's teetering near the green. Something that didn't work with Break.
I guess it's ... read more
Welcome Back to Trench everyone, hope you had fun while we were gone
- Twenty One Pilots, probably
EDIT: Just fixed a pretty big typo... score doesn't change however
So, what am I missing here? Because all I got was ZZZZzzzzzzzzz.......
Ok, that felt a bit too exaggerated, but I just thought this album was kind of boring. I mean, the production was pretty decent, and it wasn't terrible my all means, but I couldn't find any moments that took me off guard, and I just ended up doing random things while this was playing in my earbuds. Except for the part where I thought they said "I wish ... read more
Going to review this with the mindset of a non-Charles fanboy, and think of this if it was made by someone else.
This is really good from Leclerc. I don't know which parts he played, and which ones the other did, but I don't think that doesn't matter, because this was a very relaxing piece, if I do say so myself. For some reason, these songs can definitely be played in like, an Asian supermarket (saying that in the most positive way possible, because those places give me nostalgia).
Anyways ... read more
Well, there's two types of people here. Either they love or absolutely hate it. I mean, it's no wonder it's considered to be the worst song to go number 1 on Billboard. Well, for me, I'm leaning on the good side. However, it didn't sound as great as it was when I go older. Still a decent song nonetheless.
I really didn't want to rate it this low, but it's like, they decided to look at the worst parts in their discography and decide to mash that in one song. I am really not a fan of this, and hope they make something similar to Ground. But right now, the fatigue is really starting to kick in and it's happening at the worst time (considering im going to a good kid concert sometime soon).
So for the sake of me and for probably most of your fans, get your act together my dudes and make some good ... read more
First off, just want to say: Thank you so much for 100 followers! I never thought I'd actually reached this point, but to the people who actually took the time to glance at my reviews, I salute to you.
So to celebrate this little momentous occasion, I decided to listen to In the Aeroplane Over the Sea in its entirety, front and back. I absolutely LOVED the title track, but laid off time to listen to all of its songs. So what does this album have in store for me? What do I think about it? Is it ... read more
I decided to give this a listen after my friend begged me to do it (well, it's kind of exaggerated). In the end, the EP opens pretty decent, but it ends off on a pretty boring note. However, the middle songs did save this from being completely mid, so once I finished it, I left Lost at Sea pretty satisfied in the end. Gonna add some new songs to my playlist then!
Favs: Lost, Ship in a Bottle
Dislikes: Abandon Ship
Who the hell told the band and said, "Yeah, this shit ain't making the album." I need that person fired IMMEDIATELY.
ABBA but add in 35% more orchestra and 25% less disco.
I don't really know what to say. It's a pretty decent album, with some good moments, but most of the album feel pretty safe and kind of filler. But it doesn't kill my ears or make me cringe. The most average 7/10 you can get.
The only major downside is that it's pretty short. Other than that, it's just a straight up vibe. Nothing with that at all :)
It ain't a 100 in my book, but this is a still motherfucking banger of an album.
Listened to this the 1st time, and thought it was pretty decent.
And then I saw the rating. Then I listened to it again just to see if I wasn't tripping...
It picks it up in the 2nd half, but I'm kind of confused on why it's around a 5. Boring? Ok, I kind of see that. But at least the chorus saves it from being complete dogwater. I'm intrigued where Justin is going to take this album towards, but if it's 15 songs similar to this, then I wouldn't mind it all.
charles leclerc fanboy here to post a 100 to the 2024 future f1 champion (i'm delusional)
