Pretty generic shoegaze, nothing innovative but still enjoyable.
I stumbled upon this album on users' best and it piqued my interest. I have just listened to it back to back twice and oh boy, this is fire.

Spectral, icy folklore. Nico sounds like an otherwordly seer, a cosmic entity wailing and warning us to take heed and listen with complete abandon. Powerful and beautiful.
This was a very enjoyable listen. It is dream pop with hints of shoegaze, and gorgeous dream pop melodies reminiscent of the Cocteau Twins that throw us back to sonically sweeter times. Lyrically, there are times when it sounds so coy and bright it gives off twee-pop vibes.
More commercially palatable than their other albums, the band seems to distance itself from their darker sound and venture into preppier and more energetic territory. Not a fan of the more saccharine sound and the record's length, but it is still pretty good and does not lose The Cure's idiosyncratic melodies.
Whoa, this was an intense experience. Sprain strikes with harsh vocals that sometimes border the tragic and theatrical, ferocious noise and the negative space of its silence. It has an epic quality kind of reminiscent of Swans but that still captures a distinctive personality. Pretty solid, but definitely not a casual listen.
One of the best post-rock albums out there. There are a few times I felt the instrumentals dragged through a bit, but otherwise stellar listen.
Would've scored higher, but the voice killed it for me personally.
