One of her best songs with a whole pretty good album taped on to the back end
Absolutely an electropop masterpiece, how do you go from something like this to an album like Britney Jean in just over half a decade?
If it weren't for that Jay Electronica verse this would have an average of like at least 77. I stand by what I said on my Telefone review, I think a lot of people on this site just hate women, cause I despise Jay Electronica too but a lot of male artists work with him and you don't hear anything about it, but people are really quick to shit on Noname.
Favs: black mirror, hold me down, boomboom, potentially the interlude, namesake, beauty supply, afro futurism, gospel?, oblivion.
It doesn't have any Diddy Bop level tracks like Telefone did, but it makes up for that for being an absurdly more consistent listening experience overall.
I honestly don't know which I prefer more, this or Telefone, but I do know that late 2010s Noname is one of the best things to ever happen to music. This album evokes the same feeling of always being there to comfort you that Telefone does. Honestly just incredible that she was able to create a project like that, twice, back to ... read more
took a while to grow on me but i'm kinda fucking loving lcd's reheated nachos

I honestly don't know when I found this mixtape, I know I didn't listen to it when it came out, but I feel like it's always just kind of existed and been a part of my rotation.
This is one of the nicest jazz rap projects ever, it's so positive, and instrumentally gorgeous, there's really nothing to dislike about it. There are some obvious highlights, like not every track on here is super perfect, but it's lack of consistency doesn't really bring the tape down ... read more

I kinda love it honestly even if it doesn't nearly match up to anything she's put out recently.
so now we're roooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooock music
I wasn't huge on barista but this and advice have me honestly more hyped for Indie rock 2 than I was for Revengeseekerz
After Ouroboros dropped near the end of last year, I had tons of hope for whatever Yvnlazy's next album ended up being. This wasn't a disappointment in any way, it's a very fun album, but it's plagued with inconsistency. Definitely not the AOTY contender I was hoping it would be, but at least the highs are pretty high.
