I don't really agree with most people who say that this album was made commercially, else we would have something that looked like the leaked tracklist where the final track is called "Bye, My Name Was" 💀. Big up to Em for bringing back styles from each of his albums and also collaborating with pop singers, Somebody Save Me and Temporary are two of my favorite tracks on this LP. This stands out practically more mature than anything Petit Biscuit done before. This albums feels cinematic and truly amazing to listen to in it's entirety.
I really recommend listening with headphones.
I never rated something pop this high before but I'll say it, Pacific Daydream, if you count Mexican Fender and the second half of the album is A GOOD ALBUM.

I know that most people feel like 14 minutes is short and real bad as it is a demo album but personally I really like what this album propose on the experimental side of it. The instrumentation is very good and everything seem so incredible. Good job, really! This is probably one of the chillest albums from the year.
The sophomore album of the band Daughter almost feel spectacular, with some songs making you fly sometimes. The level of instrumentation and details on this record is almost frightening, their debut almost feel empty next to it.

no seriously though, that ending track is AWESOME, oh yeah it's called Haunt You Every Day btw
Maladroit is amongst my favorite records from the band, there's no doubt that it was made in a shitty period of the band's history with a lot of stories that are fucked, but it's still one of my favorites records to this date and relistening to it everytime is pure and so fresh even 22 years post release.
