This single has grown on me. Definitely excited for the new album.
intro was giving Pink Floyd vibes with that synth. honestly, a complete 180 of what she has been doing lately. Wasn’t expecting this.
Wasn’t expecting to hear anything mind blowing from this album. Guess I was right.
I thought people were joking about this album sounding the same as his other works, but they weren’t lying.
I love how constantly they reinvent themselves and explore different sounds that are tied to different cultures.
Fav track: Orange County
it might take me another listen to get into this record, but love the vibe.
Fav track: That White Cat
I don't trust anyone who doesn't give this album a 10/10. Like it is such a beautiful record from start to finish.
I tried coming back to this album every now and then to understand why it's popular, but I just don't get. I gave it a chance to grow on me, but it never did.
I haven’t watched the film, but wow, I absolutely love the instrumentals. I’m not a fan of listening to soundtracks in their entirety. But, I made an exception for this one because of the iconic song “Knocking’ on Heaven’s Door.” From the album cover and the song itself, I knew that the album would have a more acoustic and western feel. And after listening, the tracks do live up to the aesthetic and my expectations.
Love the how raw the songs sound. Very unpolished and unfinished, yet feels perfect and beautiful.
Originally, I was going to give this a 79 because it was an overwhelming first listen. I also had high expectations for this album considering it is a "classical/must listen" albums. But, after giving it a second and third listen, I can finally see why it is one of the greatest albums.
It's okay. Not the best contender for standout album of this year. This albums gave me Clairo vibes/production here and there with her vocals. Also, this album very much reminds me of Kansas anymore by ROLE MODEL with the country pop production. But, not bad overall.
