This is where black metal was born. theres a heavy motorhead inspiration on this album it kind of bridges the gap between early heavy metal and black metal. many bands were inspired by the speed and lyrical themes of this album which is what gave birth to the genre of black metal, take this album, add screechy vocals and more distortion on the guitars and its a perfect early black metal album.
