I imagine this is what victorian era royalty kids with teenage angst listened to
My New Band Believe is making me Believe (corny asl I know)
Notes On A Conditional Form: A mixed bag of decently tall highs and dull, almost mind-numbing lows
The 1975 are a pop rock band formed in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the UK; they are my current musical obsession. I had known about The 1975 for a while now but never actually listened to any of their songs. That is until I heard Happiness from Being Funny In A Foreign Language, an absolute pop rock triumph of a song that just so happened to be my first track from them. Don't fuck with this one but the title track and Rocking with Keith are bangers
idk about this one. It's very dark and unique sonically, and the overall sound is really creative, but it just doesn't hit that hard for me. Life Hex, ist halt so and Sicko! are bangers tho, and that last part in Dodecahedron was cool. but overall I kinda thought this one was just alright.
No wonder so many of my favorite artists cite this guy as a huge influence; this shit is so fucking wacky but sounds so damn good
Listen, I think it's good but it feels more like ITCOCK 2 rather than it's own thing. Especially the title track, it's literally just Epitaph at home. That's not to say there aren't bangers on here tho. The Peace songs I actually think are great and as their titles suggest are very peaceful. Cadence and Cascade is very beautiful as well and the sax on Pictures of a City is orgasmic.
Yep, it's a banger. Just incredible throughout with some hit or miss tracks (i.e Surrounded by Head and Bodies, Mine) but still sounds so damn good.
Every track is like a dystopian universe where robots have taken over the world and Immaterial just comes in like "WASSUP FUCKERS"
I honestly thought the movie was just "good" but this soundtrack is mesmerizing
Slowly getting obsessed with this band.
I heard Happiness on The 1975's latest album, "Being Funny in a Foreign Language," a year ago, and although I found it incredibly infectious with its super catchy guitar and beautifully reoccurring sax littered throughout the song, I didn't get into the band until my friend in our group chat sent a video of him listening to About You literally like a month ago or so, I think. After I saw that video, I decided to give BFIAFL a listen, ... read more
