I don’t know why this is being called an EP because it’s 30 minutes and 11 tracks, so I can comfortably just call it his best album.
This album is very good, but it will have the unfortunate fate of being over loved by people chronically online, and over hated by everyone else.
I’ve unfortunately run out of new Songs: Ohia music to listen to, and this could not have been a better scratch for that itch.
Best first listen I’ve had in months. Some of the most beautiful and honest writing I’ve ever heard. And over some near flawless production. It’s hard to say a must hear album is underrated, but this shit is.
Wobble-dy, wobble-dy, wa-wobble, wobble
I'm st-stacking my paper my wallet look like a bible
“My home girl rap, and she feminist hold it down for the women, I call her Feminiem.” 🗣️🗣️
My Bloody Valentine found dead holy shit.
I can sense this band gaining a lot of traction this year they’re too damn good not to.
For what this album was going for, it’s about as good as it gets. It was just not going for much outside of being a sweet and relaxing album. And that’s honestly the only thing making my score not a 100.
If the whole album was as good as the opening track this would be the best ambient album OAT, loved all the jazz elements as well.
Feel like I’ve been giving everything a high score but everything I’ve been listening to has just been really good.
Is this album perfect? Not necessarily. Could the writing be more interesting? Probably. But does this shit bless my ears every time I listen to it? Absolutely
