This album annoys me so much more than it should. During his two album drop earlier this year, you could see by the second album that he was starting to be drained of creativity. This trend only continues with MIXTAPE PLUTO. While there are some concepts that stood out to me (Teflon Don and Ocean come to mind), most of this album is just bland leftovers from an already mediocre album in “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU”
There are no songs on here where he needs to be breaking a guitar. Still goes hard tho
A tribe Called Quest continue to show their dominance in the jazz rap category, producing yet another masterpiece in their discography
Shout out my coworker who told me to listen to this. A solid start to an album that got dragged down due to the repetitiveness and lack of interesting ideas in the second half.
A relaxing album that did a great job utilizing their strings. A couple songs off of here sounded like they would be used for an inspiring corporate commercial which ruined the vibe for me a bit
Was not a fan of a majority of the house tracks and enjoyed the IDM parts more. With that said, Birth4000 is peak
Not as good as the other remixes, but still good
A really strong album with only a couple songs that felt overproduced
A few highlights, but most of the album is filler. Not as good as I remember it being
The only time I could see a club playing these songs is when it’s the end of the night and they’re tryna get people to leave
This makes me want to sit on a rocking chair and watch the sunrise all morning
Surprising that after over 50 years, Nektar are still releasing solid albums that benefit their discography
What the hell is this😭
