Drake and future were releasing absolute heat in 2015 and so I'm sure this collab mixtape had high expectations. Digital Dash is the best track imo but Scholarships and jumpman are fire as well. Track 6 to track 8 is a bit of a snoozefest but overall very listenable mixtape.

If youre reading this it's too late is my favourite drake project and i say that having listened to take care and nwts very recently. It just has this relentless energy while also being able to deliver some effortless vibes. No tellin is a great example of this and is probably my favourite Drake song but let's not forget about jungle, energy, now & Forever and a lot more. Preach is the only miss from this mixtape. I had so much fun listening to this again.

Nothing was the same feels a lot more concise and focused than his previous records. I'd say the high points on this album are better than the high points on take care, but I do think nwts has more low points with more skippable tracks and that's why I'm scoring it a point lower.

Best: tuscan Leather, furthest thing, worst behaviour, from time, hold on were going home, too much, pound cake / Paris morton
Worst: 305 fo my city

Take care is really where it all comes together for me with Drake. Drakes ability to go from uplifting, catchy tunes like headlines to sad, slow vibes like marvins room is seamless. He's always been a bit of a cornball but he was really in his bag on this album, really well produced with a song for pretty much any mood.
